Although a grand old Hotel wash basin getting bit old &cracked we had no hot water just warm but the Staff were very Friendly, breakfast ok.

Nous avions une très très petite chambre, mais c'était vraiment sympa, très beau. La vue et le dynamisme du balcon où s'asseoir était très agréable. Personnel de soir vraiment altruiste. Super bien située. Tapis et peu de circulation d'air, assurez-vous de pouvoir ouvrir une porte ou une fenêtre. L'option déjeuner n'est pas une bonne idée. Vraiment un bel endroit.

Stayed here for one night and it is conveniently located a short walk from the train station. We did not use metro since much of the city is walkable, and the hotel is very close to many restaurants and cafes and bistros. It was a bit older of a hotel but not bad, and they were nice and let us check our bags in since we arrived early. No AC but luckily it was not hot but it is located a busy street so a little noise coming from the streets. Good stay for the value.

Great location, and the staff were really great. The building is a bit aged so floors were uneven but the room was comfortable.

Traditional hotel very centrally located with helpful friendly staff.

This is a great-value hotel within walking distance of train station, Cathedral and lots of restaurants and shops. The breakfast is good too. The staff are wonderful, especially Wendy and Bonilda and they made our stay in beautiful Amiens extra enjoyable. We will hopefully return to Amiens and will definitely stay here again.

A very quiet time of the year, but the hotel is centrally located so that you can walk anywhere in Amiens, just about. The hotel reception staff were so helpful with directions and information, speaking good english.

in a good location for walking as it is on a pedestrian shopping area. short walk to everything. Although a little out dated it was all very pleasant. Only downfall was no parking.

Liked everything about the L'univers.The staff.food.bed were all excellent. What I didnt like is the non correspondence from Wotif which put stress on me saying the booking was cancelled and then not hearing from them again.Will not use this booking system again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is brilliantly located near the station and also the main attractions. The breakfast available is very nice. The room was quite old fashioned but a good size and included a table and chairs. The bathroom, however, was very small with only a hand held shower over a very thin bath. The WC was in a separate room with no basin.

This was a great place to stay in Amiens. The staff were accommodating. They even put in am early breakfast for us at 2:30am to attend the Anzac Day dawn service. Lovely breakfast. The only downside was they didn’t have any English speaking options in the TV. Surrounding shops and restaurants were great and lovely view of the cathedral from my window. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Charming, shabby chic, modest hotel in the heart of a long pedestrian only shopping boulevard, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, parks and close to the largest, most amazing cathedral!

Really friendly and helpful staff. A genuine and traditional French building with modern facilities in keeping with its period. Quiet, clean, a short, flat walk from the beautiful cathedral and very fine museum, with bars and restaurants likewise a short walk from the hotel. The charming quaysides are not far. Amiens is a lovely town for shopping too, and I found very reasonable prices everywhere. Go there!
