Apartment was a bit worn down. It was also very difficult to find!

I personally liked it because my aunt lives nearby. The shopping, access to tram and city centre make this a great place to stay, A market practicallly out the door and tram down the street have easy transportation. Since it is not city centre it is in a quiet area and good service at the hotel desk.

Exceptional value, will be coming here again in future trips. Stunned by how much space we had! Great amenities, including everything needed for basic cooking, washing clothes. Convenient location. No noise problems. Tips: (1) loud pigeons on the roof nearby are scared off if you flip the window shades up & down a couple of times, and they don’t come back for quite a while. (2) Nice fans are provided for the really warm days and we found that propping the door open downstairs with the most powerful fan blowing air up & and doors to living areas propped open, during cooler part of the morning/evening, quickly circulated enough cool air to make it comfortable.

The property was good but use to have fans cooler options so the fan was helpful as well as the washer/dryer combination. Two levels for bedroom and the lower for kitchen/living area with stairs was unusual but fine. Recommend

Apartment was minimalist, but efficiently functional. Bedroom was just a loft above the living room, so there wasn't any isolation from any noise created in the living room, if that's an issue. It

The apartment had lots of space for our family of four to spread out and relax after a day of touring Amsterdam. Very clean and tons of restaurant and grocery options nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

This was close to tram stop. Lots of restaurants nearby. We ate at a really good Indonesian restaurant. Close to beautiful park. Have to go to hotel de hallem to check in. Silverware drawer hidden under stove. Comfy bed! Great TV options.

It was very difficult to find an affordable hotel in the Amsterdam area. These apartments were not cheap, but you get an entire apartment to yourself. They have a portable air conditioner/heater and multiple fans which was a huge plus. These are things you don’t find in a lot of Europe. The shower was very large and you had every amenity imaginable. I love how there was a washer/dryer and they provided laundry pods. The layout of the apartment was a bit off, but it didn’t affect our stay. The area was in a quiet part of town so that was nice and there were tram stops very close by.

what a great apartment. Convienent to everything. We didn't have a car so can't comment on parking, but public transport is the way to go in Amsterdam. The apartment is well equipped with all that you will need to be comfortable. The kitchen has all the basic items to make a meal. (except for a toaster, which would have been useful). There is so much space, the living room & kitchen are downstairs, bathroom & bedroom upstairs. The drapes where heavy enough to keep out the light. Would definitely return.

I’ve stayed here many times in the past year or so. I’m mostly impressed by the management and staff. Always courteous and helpful—unlike other places I’ve stayed while in Amsterdam. Some of the apartments and amenities inside are more dated than others, but overall I continue to stay here because the apartments are a good value.

Everything is wonderful. Apartment is really clean and new. Fully equipped, towels, shampoos, coffees etc. place has also food area with different tastes all around world. Close to public transport and comfy place. Very happy with my stay 8 nights.

Great apt and location. Close to tram line. Nice escape from the hevtic downtown area. Foodhallin next door is great for dinner. Several restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast at the DeHallen hotel. Watch weather forecast though. If temps are hot there is no air conditioning in apts. Poor air circulation. We had 2 very hot nights.You will be better off staying at the hotel which has ac.

The apartment unit I rented did not have A/C and the windows could not be opened. The hotel provided fans upfront but this was still unexpected given its advertised as having A/C.

It was amazing , wonderful area close to the center (8 min to dam) . You need to go to " De Hallen Hotel" for check in.

Very comfortable stay in a very spacious apartment in Amsterdam. We loved our stay at Apartments de Hallen. It was really easy to get everywhere via tram, bike, or walking. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable; the WiFi worked great; and they brought our bags up to our second floor room which was really nice. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay here. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Excellent appartment, good location for walking into Amsterdam or taking the tram. Appartment well equipped & beautifully furnished. Great service from the de Hallen hotel. Plenty of cafes nearby, not so many restaurants. Recommend Remise47 & de Hallen Foodhall. Remember to collect your keys from the de Hallen hotel.

It was our first time staying here, and the place did not disappoint: the staff were helpful and friendly; the property was astoundingly spacious; the location was vibrant and eclectic.

It was an amazing stay. It wasn't a first time here, but it did not disappoint. Both units were awesome, although one was a bit smaller than the other. They both have great amenities: a complete kitchen, spacious living area, a washing machine, two comfy rooms. The staff were friendly, and always went out of their way to help. Saying it's a home away from home is a cliche, but it's really true in this case: the place was somewhere you'd always want to go home to after a long day of exploring the city. The location was equally great: there's a food hall, cinemas, artsy shops in De Hallen; a string of commercial establishments along Kinkerstraat; and a vibrant street market in Ten Katestraat. Tram stops are just around the corner, so it's quite easy to roam around the city. If you want to live like a local, this is the place to stay.
