I don’t understand why this historic hotel isn’t booked to capacity every night. Great host, terrific location, splendid breakfast. What’s not to like? We’ll be back!!

The staff was nice enough to drive me back to the train station after I had troubles finding a ride.

Villa Policreti is a beautiful, formal hotel with views of the Friuli plain, small towns and Aviano Air Base. The staff does a fine job cleaning and maintaining the property, and it is popular for parties and weddings.

The family that owns/runs the hotel was so warm and accommodating. They were excellent hosts, and I hope to stay there in the future. The property is in a beautiful small town overlooking Aviano. The family gave me wonderful recommendations regarding towns to visit and activities to help me experience real Italy (vs. tourist Italy). I loved visiting Sacile and doing a bit of hiking and panoramic views in Piancavallo. Gracie Mille!!

The town is very small but quite charming, the restaurant was excellent and the hotel has on site golf which is a big bonus. If you want old World charm and small town feel this is the place!

This hotel villa is undeniably beautiful. It's backdrop (in March) was snowcapped mountains and the view of the Italian countryside is also spectacular. The rooms have wooden beams and other staples of Italian architecture. The bathrooms have heated towel racks and the breakfast is extensive and very tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the presence of several stink bugs and lady bugs in my room. I suppose that is to be expected though, with being in the Italian countryside on a warm March day with the window open.

We came in the off season so not too many other guests. Hotel staff was very accommodating. Pet friendly place with some room for the dogs to walk outside.

Beautiful views from part way up the mountain. A converted villa, my room was nice, but a bit crampt. When we got there, there was a huge party (wedding reception?) going on, but the rooms were quiet enough to sleep well.
