Room was clean but the hotel is old and the staff only speaks Spanish and hard to communicate. Pool is not really an amenity as I wouldn't recommend swimming in it. Breakfast was not the greatest but it is included in the price..

Aged a bit since the pictures on the web were taken. Pool was nice, breakfast was good, room was lacking. Bed was hard, shower was dangerous with rapidly fluctuating water temperature and the door to the bathroom wouldn’t close.

En el escritorio de atención nos dijeron que durante el día que nos íbamos podíamos utilizar la pileta. El último día preguntamos por un late check out y como decidimos no tomarlo porque el precio nos pareció excesivo, nos impidieron usar la pileta. La atención del turno mañana en general es mala.

Mi experiencia en general, no fue buena. Debo destacar a pesar de todo, la disposición del personal para atendernos, su gentileza y amabilidad. También resalto que se esfuerzan porque las habitaciones estén limpias. El desayuno está bastante bien y la ubicación es muy conveniente, sin embargo, se trata de una edificación muy antigua, lo que no hace agradable la estadía. Las pocas fotos que se comparten por el hotel no están acorde a la realidad porque las habitaciones cuentan con un mobiliario viejo. Los baños también son muy antiguos. El ruido es impresionante, porque se oye todo de un piso a otro. Las puertas son viejas y no cierran bien, así que, cuando en otras habitaciones intentan cerrarlas, se escuchan azotes por todas partes. Si lo que se busca es comodidad para el descanso, este no es un lugar ideal.

Breakfast was crowded. Other than that, a 10 of 10. I’m staying there again in a few days and that says it all. Historic district at your feet.

Great location. Property is badly in need of renovation. Carpenting is worn thin and subfloor has a bounce. Lacks simple things like room safes.

Hotel right in the middle of Colonia old district with everything easily accessible by foot including bus station, restaurants, ferry, souvenir shops, groceries. Decent breakfast. Old building but clean. Everything was ok for us.

Good and friendly staff, accommodating . The breakfast is DECENT. Comforting and somewhat classy lobby and the rooms are just fine, cozy and small. Wish they had a fridge and microwave in each room, but maybe that’s just a US thing. It’s just risky, to me, putting my food or drink in the communal fridge ,someone could take it.

Nice hotel cheapest in the area but looks as good as any other hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating they allow you to drop off bags if it isn’t check in time or leave bags if you have checked out and don’t want to carry luggage around all day until you leave, highly recommended

A nice hotel for the budget conscious traveler in the Old Town within walking distance to shopping, bus terminal and ferry terminal.

Very comfortable place

The property conditions are worse than the best motels in USA..Old dingy rooms with carpet, outdated and broken furniture, dirty sheets, a terrible smell, extremely thin walls, rough scratchy towels. I wanted to leave the minute I smelled the lobby. The hallways look like they are from a horror movie. The breakfast is not good. I am usually not picky but I couldn't believe the quality of this property. The staff are not very welcoming but they are quick and polite. Check out was easy. The location is superb, right in the heart of Colonia. They do have very hot shower water and one functioning elevator.

Good location close to everything and plenty of restaurants and shops around hut average room good enough for a night or two. Breakfast was good
