Firstly, we are fussy!!! We can honestly say U Capuchin Biancu was faultless. The team were truly superb and looked after anything and everything, The suite was amazing, and the view to the sea stunning. The design of U Capu is shabby chic which we loved over sterile or the mass contemporary hotels popping up everywhere. A real gem.

Spectacular location - beautiful setting on its own beach overlooking Capu Biancu; convenient (but not too close) to Bonifaccio, Sperone, Polambaggia & Porto Vecchio. Staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful (particularly Romain, the boat captain) and rooms were eclectically designed (in a good way). The entire property reflects a happy balance between 5 star comfort and the distinctive personality of a family owned boutique hotel. Only blemish on our experience was the concierge, Jean-Joseph, who was mediocre and unhelpful in his suggestions. However, this blemish detracted in only the smallest way from an otherwise wonderful four day sojourn. Will absolutely recommend U Capu Biancu to friends and very much hope to return in future!

Super stay - wonderful location, very, very good team, and good food. What makes it great though - and this may have been a fact of staying in low season - is the sense that you almost have this great place to yourself in the day time, with people coming together for the evening. The only negative for us was the RIDICULOUS price they charge for a dog: Eur 45 per night. Absurd.

Amazing! Lovely hotel, all staff were great, resturant was v good, however felt slightly limited with the menu. Beach and pool lovely we would recommend the boat trip. Expensive but worth it! All in all a great holiday and we'd love to go back! C

A fantastic, if not 'wacky' hotel. Beautifully situated in a lovely remote area. Staff absolutely wonderful. Food delicious. Grounds wonderful. Ten out of ten! However, Due to only being given one hour to transfer flights and terminals at Nice to go on to Figari, we missed our ONLY connection and next day's flight was fully booked!!! We only just made the return flight from Nice to Heathrow. One hour is NOT sufficient time to do transfers form one terminal to another when check in, security etc. is involved and Gates CLOSE some 20 minutes before flight take off. Watch out for this when booking non direct flights, (if you can get them) The stress of worrying about our return flight absolutely RUINED our holiday. Expedia.com NOTE!

Great place to go if you want to relax but if you are the energetic type then the hotel will also suit. They have a gym, spa, pool, kayaks (for the sea) paddle boards so lots to fill your time. Very friendly and helpful staff, went our of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

This hotel is run in the cheap and plays on its location, I paid over €1500 for 2 nights in a badly located room with old sunbeds and a blocked view, although was offered an "upgrade", which was a larger room but with a worse view. The whole point of this place is the location and beach, but unfortunately the beach is filthy and uncleaned by the hotel as I spent a morning there watching the staff walk around the rubbish!! I would not swim here and they do not clean the beach it is a scandal. The room is built cheaply with non functioning sink and toilet. I had to brush my teeth in the bath. Toiletries are cheap also and wouldn't look out of place in a public toilet or local gym. Breakfast is charged extra (apparently not included in the exorbitant price "so guests have a choice in case they are not hungry"), and is also cheap offering limited/boring selection with little fruit and one cheese, by far the worst I have experienced in Corsica and by far the most expensive. They know you cannot go anywhere else so you are stuck there! On the positive side the staff are very friendly and the location is beautiful. It is a real shame as it could be a really special hotel.

the room we got was not at all like the one advertised on the web site. It had the a one of a kind décor : flip flops stuck on the toilet wall, flipflops overhead by the dozens above the bed, shoe molds on other walls. The floor tiles were each coloured crudely in kindergarden style.

Amazing, professional service and property was paradise. Very family friendly. I thought 30 euro was a bit unfair per person for breakfast considering the price of the rooms but...all in all a fantastic memory

The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere at the beach (actually two private beaches in two small bays), perfect to relax and unwind. It couldn't be better unless you're looking for party and clubs. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very nice and even garden view is wonderful. They pay a lot of attention to details, e.g. an electric mosquito repellent in the room. View from restaurant is awesome, meals are good and breakfast buffet huge. Hotel and restaurant are not cheap.
