When I first entered the hotel lobby, my husband commented, "It was scary," but I refuted that, seeing as the hotel reviews indicated that all the guests were generally satisfied. The lobby was comfortable, cool, and breezy. Some of the staff were wearing white shirts, likely interns. Check-in was a bit of a wait, as the receptionist seemed overwhelmed with the influx of guests. After checking in, we had to take the stairs because our room was on the second floor. The elevator was reportedly under repair. However, when my husband saw the elevator doors, there were cobwebs, indicating that the elevator hadn't been used for a long time. Then, on our way to our room, we passed through a grimy corridor, with many rooms in disrepair. Upon entering the room, I could accept the situation, considering the price. However, the toilet was extremely dirty. Less than 30 minutes later, we decided to check out and move to another hotel in Mataram City, even though we had to return to the airport the next morning.
