Charming and quaint old-fashioned style about it. Beautifully tended gardens with croquet and other lawn games available. Room very spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Lift to all floors. On first floor (where we stayed) the fire doors were very narrow and stiff so wheelchair access would be difficult but doors to rooms were okay. Heated outdoor pool in a secluded area sheltered from the wind and pleasant to swim in. Easy access to the beach via security gate with 10 minute stroll. Close to many sites of interest and the town centre for eating. Garage with super EV charger less than 1 mile away from the hotel. Full English Breakfast was excellent and is worth booking the night before to keep the cost down. Would be happy to stay here again.

We had an en suite double room with kitchenette which was big and but very dated, booked room only so can’t comment on food. Room was clean and good value, use of pool and leisure facilities were included (unfortunately we didn’t have time to try it). Lovely garden, friendly helpful staff. Would stay again but probably upgrade to a sea view room next time. Great for short no frills stay.

Tired and needing a good airing, but a good space with useful amenities. Having booked 2 double rooms we were given a suite and a double room - but the suite had no hot water so everyone had to use the other bathroom. The location was great and parking easily available. Beds were quite comfortable.

Property is extremely dated and very little investment made. Lift doesn't work, some of the leisure facilities haven't worked for days. Fantastic location and access to the beach through the gardens. The outside pool was freezing when the outside temp was 20+, was defo not heated. The electric shower was disconnected with no warning, the sink was blocked that should of been picked up, the sofa lost a lot of pudding, the phone doesn't work, the fire alarm went off at midnight for 5 sec, windows are dirty. The property feels like it hasn't moved from the 1970s. If you want no frills with a leisure centre and easy access to the beach, this is an ideal property.

Needs a refurb and some TLC

Room was clean, plenty of off street parking as the hotel car park is always full. Only things I noticed was the water pressure was not great on cold taps, shower & toilet, often had to throw a bowl of water down the loo as flush was not enough. The water pressure in the ladies changing room in gym was much better than the shower in my room

The room was tired, but clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok, a little expensive for what was on offer. Parking was fine, right by the hotel front door. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Great location and comfortable room with everything needed provided. Public transport was close by and nature and wildlife was in abundance around. I had a peaceful stay. Would come again.

Classic old school hotel, presentable but decor from a different era. Very clean. Gardens are stunning. Good location for seafront - about a 5 min walk. Good facilities. Very limited food options, but that might be because we stayed in March. We were very grateful for the room upgrade that we received - they didn't have to do that.

Very run down. Room not clean. Staff very helpful . Badly in need of refurbishment.

The size of the room was excellent, as were the staff. Unfortunately the rooms and plumbing systems really need updating. The Hotel is in a very good location and we enjoyed our stay.

Plenty of things to do both onsite and nearby.

First time at the Devoncourt resort, not impressed at all- this needs a total renovation of the decor, no beverage’s available until after 3pm ?

A lovely traditional hotel with great facilities including pools and lovely gardens. Our bedroom was very comfortable with amazing views across the bay from our balcony

A great location, with on site parking and lovely gardens. Arrived quite early but were able to check-in. The receptionist was very friendly and informative - a real credit to the hotel. Pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an apartment rather than the double room we had booked. The apartment was very spacious, with it's own private balcony. Whilst the furniture & decor was quite dated, it was all in good working order and the room was clean. Had intended to make use of the hotel facilities but didn't in the end - though they did look very good.
