Booked 2 cottages at once (connecting) for 3 families to change clothes and rest for a while because of a family wedding. Honestly, I was really hesitant at first because Mesra is an old hotel and people's reviews were all kind of duds. The food is standard, lots of variety, the rooms are also non-smoking, the staff are also quite friendly and agile, they are all quick to help open the door twice when locked, the AC is also cold, smart TV, refrigerator. Suggestion, maybe wash the sheets and comforter with antibacterial detergent, because it's a bit itchy. The room with the wooden floor also had cockroaches. For one night it's fine.

Very comfortable, spacious rooms, nice swimming pool.

The facilities are good, the breakfast is varied, but there's only one downside. I planned to stay for two days, April 1-2, 2026, and was forced to check out because my room was disturbed by an early morning knock from an unknown person.

The toilet is a bit stuck when flushing, but otherwise it's comfortable.

The Wi-Fi sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

Too much chlorine/medicine in pool water can damage swimwear and is dangerous for health, especially for small children.

Some things need to be reconsidered, such as the cleanliness of the refill jug and the water dispenser being left empty for too long. Otherwise, everything is fine and comfortable...

The room smelled really bad of cigarettes, even though it was a non-smoking request, and the surroundings were not very clean, but maybe because it was an old hotel, it was not well maintained, even though the room was nice and very spacious.

On the 5th floor, room 5123, there are rats, which are quite disturbing when sleeping at night. When chased away, the rats climb up the window curtains and when they go back to sleep, the rats walk around on the floor and hide behind the TV shelf.

I like everything, from the room, other facilities and the friendliness, I really like everything, I even always stay here as a regular... But unfortunately, I don't like the food, even though it's all you can eat, we still pay + also breakfast can't be much, right? The food should be good.. this is not the case, I paid 175/person for dinner, all you can eat, and the menu was chicken and others, I really remember it and the breakfast menu the next morning was the same + I know that it was heated up.

The hotel is clean, the service is friendly... In the middle of the city.
