Luxurious quality with traditional English charm! Very comfy bed and really nice shower. Having a courtyard and some fresh cream Victoria sponge when we arrived was a bonus! Tasty breakfast in the garden-facing diner. Central location.

A beautiful spacious immaculate room with every extra you could wish for, large bed and amazing pillows. Bathroom with good walk in shower, toiletries and shelf space. Friendly helpful hotelier Tony who put together superb breakfasts and probably the best poached eggs I've ever tasted! Off road parking free of charge which is a real plus in central Bath and easy walking distance to the Roman Bath and Abbey. Highly recommended and on our list for next visit to Bath.

Wonderful B&B, can’t recommend highly enough. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, Breakfast was superb, and cooked to order. Toni was a fantastic host. We loved the home made cake left in our room, this is a real gem of a place with the added bonus of parking, and we would definitely like to return again.

It was very comfortable and warm, even though we had frost every night, and felt just like a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were great 😋

More of a home away from home than a B&B. Everything was spotless and the breakfasts were superb, we would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Had a lovely stay......my only complaint is . That the breakfast was too big! I have never seen such a fantastic fruit salad for breakfast... my husband had the full english .which was fantastic.

The property was outstanding from the room & bed to the Wi-Fi and freshly cooked breakfast. Fresh slices of cake were placed in the room daily, which was a lovely personal touch. The room also had smart TV with Netflix available. The owner was amazing with his knowledge and tips for the tourist attractions, eating out and local sites to see. We had laundry washed, folded and put back in room for a small fee. Would highly recommend this property, I doubt you could find better.

Outstanding, hotel excellent and staff brilliant

Great location in a quiet residential area and only 10 minutes walk to Bath town centre. Hosts were very helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Loved all of it no complaints

Our host Toni was wamr and friendly. The hotel is very well located. You can park there and it's a short and easy walk into the town centre. The hotel is very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. There was even some carrot cake in our room to welcome us! Excellent breakfast, too. We will definitely be coming back.

The way you are made so welcome and nothing is to much trouble for Tony and his wife in making your stay perfect . There is not a thing that could be improved in our opinion .

Breakfast was delicious. Tony’s suggestions were helpful. With Tony’s help, parking was easy enough. We mistook Henrietta Street for Henrietta Road and ended up at the wrong place, but Tony quickly straightened us out when we called him, and he directed us further down the street until it turned into the Road and met us out front. We did not need our car at all in Bath because we could walk wherever we wanted to go from here. Chestnuts House and our hosts were truly a delight.
