Great stay

Nice view, so close to lovely beach for calm swimming, good restaurants nearby. Clean, spacious, friendly management.

Although we did not have a view of the beach, our room was very spacious and well equipped. Very handy to everything, no need to drive. Pool was great and manager was pleasant. Would def stay again.

Had an extremely comfortable stay. Decent view of the beach and ocean from the balcony. Clean on arrival. Well equipped. Manager Reece very helpful. Would definitely return to Apt. 9

We liked that it was close to shops, coffee shop and beach. We did not receive a good welcome. When unloading our car the manager told me that I had booked 2 infants but saw I had 2 older children 7 and 8. Confused, I could not see how I could have made this mistake. I am a person of integrity and would never be dishonest like this. He rudely said that I would have not done this by accident suggesting I was a liar. I apologised twice if I had unknowingly made a mistake. He abruptly handed me a towel and said that he relied on people being honest and rudely pressed the soap on the towel sarcastically to express his opinion that I was dishonest and just walked away saying he would charge me an extra $60. If I had genuinely made a mistake, I would have happily agreed, but there was no need for such rudeness especially when I was not rude at all even after being accused of being dishonest. Unsure of a mistake, I returned home to check my booking and could see clearly I did NOT state 2 infants at all but selected 2 children 7 and 8. This rude and unfriendly welcome put a real dampener on what was a 2 night treat away for my 2 daughters who are having babies 3 days apart and 2 beautiful granddaughters. Both nights we ran out of hot water after one shower and remained kind when we called about this the 2nd night as well. On departure I thanked him for the stay even though we were very disappointed with being treated this way.

Close to the beach and Esplanade, Tranquil Shores is very cost effective. Not fancy, but has all that's needed as a base to explore the southern Sunshine Coast

Great location with a friendly manager. The unit was clean, and well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay.

Fabulous location. Walking distance to everything and so close to the beach and walking paths. The only issue really was the flights of stairs to walk up as no lifts. Would stay again though because of the location. Love Caloundra after this stay.

Great value property in a prime position. Unit complex management extremely helpful and hard-working. My only critcisms were; -Upon checkin, required a physical credit card so management could write the number on paper based credit card hold form. This was potentially problematic as my husband and I don't carry physical cards with us due to them being on our phone. Luckily my husband got access to the number. The manager implied we would not be able to check in without this. This needs to be communicated more clearly in the booking details or they need a more secure way to take details, perhaps by purchasing an eftpos machine. - the room had a little more dust around than i would have liked and the bathrooms had an odour coming from the drains like thry had been unused for some time. The room probably needs to be cleaned more regularly if there is an extended period of time between visitors.

This place is a lovely size, handy to the beach and shops. It’s very tired and the housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. The bathrooms were the worst but also very mouldy runners on all the windows.

We loved staying at this property. The apartment is big and has 2 bathrooms which is awesome. The kitchen is well equipped. It felt like a home away from home.

We were on 3rd floor and the building access is by steps only. Can be a challenge for older folk. Otherwise it was excellent and very clean. Beds were comfortable.
