Amazing views and great hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at the Widman. Everything was very clean, and the staff was extremely professional and friendly. The pool was fantastic, breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing. We also felt very safe throughout our stay. Overall, a very nice place that we would happily visit again.

We ordered can service to the airport from a service provided by Wyndham at this location they put us in the incorrect cab service the guy tried to leave us on the side of the street because he wasn’t being paid since we had paid the guys at Wyndham we were scared I tried calling Wyndham multiple times to try and fix the situation and no answer only received email apologizing for the mistake barely made it to the flight after guy finally decided to take us to the airport

Staff professional and courteous. Food great at dinner off the menu and breakfast buffet. Service at dinner fantastic! ROOM - coffee maker never worked even after the maintenance guy said he fixed it. The AC was not working when I checked in. Had to allow the maintenance guy to come into my Room to fix it. Not acceptable at the rate paid. I asked for them to switch the coffee maker and they had no spares to do so - strange that they wouldn’t hav a couple on hand.

Staff is amazing! Location is quiet and has the best view of Tamarindo! The hotel is not new but so beautiful!

Great service all around. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Caviar dinner options were also tasty—I had the lobster ravioli and the skirt steak. Lovely stay, thank you all.

Hotel was very clean

Clean room with a great view of ocean and sunsets. Staff is great and an easy walk to restaurants and beach or a quick hourly shuttle.

Excellent facilities!

During my stay, I unpacked my backpack in my hotel room to remove a number of personals as we were heading to do one of the rainforest day tours. I left behind in my room my corporate iPhone, a pair of prescription eyeglasses and a pair of sunglasses. Had reached out to the Front Desk via phone and email numerous times without a response. They only responded almost two weeks later because I contacted Wyndham Corporate. The lack of communication for these coveted valuables is extremely unacceptable, especially over such an extended period of time, which is leading me to suspect that foul play is involved here. Be careful with your valuables here is my warning…..

Every room has an amazing view!!!

Rooms were comfy and clean. Breakfast could be better, I think people expect bacon instead of hotdogs. Having free access to Langosta Beach club is great bonus. Breathtaking view.. but view in all of Tamarindo to watch the sunset.

The room cleaning was very poor; they only changed the bath towels every two days, but they didn't change the sheets at all during our week-long stay, and they never picked up the hair in the bathroom. The breakfast wasn't good. The views from the hotel were the best thing about it.

Hotel was just OK. Beautiful views but the rooms are just ok. A little dirty. Most likely wouldn’t stay here again. The best part of the hotel is the free access to the beach club.

Breakfast was poor. Breads were cheapest quality. Other choices were also limited for the price of hotel. Room fan was loose. We feared that it will break and fall on us. Area around hotel is under construction. Pictures shown on Expedia are misleading. It is 15 minutes from the beach.
