We had a wonderful stay at this Hotel in Madrid. The location is excellent, close to main attractions, restaurants and public transportation, making it easy to explore everything Madrid has to offer. The Hotel itself is classic, comfortable and well maintained. The staff throughout the Hotel were friendly and helpful. One highlight is the great restaurant "Cafe Varela", which serves outstanding food with excellent service. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with a perfect combination of great location, excellent dining and comfortable accommodations. Recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid.

Excellent hotel, great value and quiet but central location. I upgraded to have colder A/C. Worth it! Staff is welcoming and helpful. Room service is also really good. Highly recommend to all.

It’s a boutique hotel with less foot traffic but still so many dining options all around. It’s off a side street from Gran Via so location doesn’t feel as chaotic compared to staying directly on Gran Via. Hotel is still in the heart of all the shopping and dining. It’s an easy walk to the Palace and Cathedral. It is very loud at night and loud in the very wee morning hours!! Every single night we experienced extremely loud street noise from drunken people, trash trucks and people talking loudly. We were experiencing this at 2am and 4am. That’s the only down side. The breakfast is wonderful; the staff is smiley, the location is perfect, the hotel is super posh, the blackout curtains are great. I am sure the hotel can’t fix the loud noises from the street in the middle of the night but if they could, I would give it 5 stars. But, when it’s hard to sleep, it makes it hard to give 5 stars, even with earplugs in.

Wonderful, reasonably priced for Madrid city center. So convenient to most everything to see in all directions! Lots of restaurants just out the door. Staff very friendly, helpful with restaurant recommendations, reservations and taxis. Highly recommend

Great location, a bit challenging for arriving in a vehicle. You park on the curb , call them and they come get your car and park it. Found this out once we arrived and couldn’t find parking. Hotel was quiet and secure. Room was spacious. Very central location.

Good location but not a great overall experience

You can bring drinks from the ground floor bar to the rooftop,however there is no rooftop bar.

When I saw the reviews on this hotel I knew this was going to be a great experience- however, O was wrong. I must say the location was extraordinary as it was walking distance to basically everything you would go to/ do in Madrid! Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience. The minute I walked into the room I was given I found left over hair in the bathroom (scattered in different places), hair in the fridge, chewing-gum on the floor, thick dust just under the bed and something which really shook me (because I have a toddler who is in the phase of picking up everything into his mouth), I’d found a bitten pill left on the bedside table. This was of reach of my toddler and that is how I found it. As anyone would, I called reception and let them know- they sent me the room cleaner and she didnt seem happy at all, quite pissed. I then went down to speak to the receptionist as I just felt weird how my concern wasnt taken seriously. But all they did was say “I apologise”. But kept saying I apologise until I just finished talking to it seemed as if Its something they go through on a regular basis and felt unbothered. I thought at least they might call me and change my room or at least a gesture of good will. But nothing. I wont stay here again, nor recommend. Things could have gone wrong in so many ways, and the hotel was not bothered. Im only grateful my son had not swallowed a pill they couldnt be bothered to remove from the guests before me.

The place was really nice very clean and everything is right outside the door. I did not try their breakfast because there’s just so many options right outside.

Best Lokation

Location was perfect. We loved the ease to restaurants and shopping. Getting around to theaters, museums, parks was a quick taxicab ride away. The people were helpful and friendly. We look forward to visiting again.

Great central location; property well-maintained and clean
