We arrived a little ahead of schedule but were welcomed and able to check in super quickly. The room was very conveniently situated in the centre of Lucca, with easy access to most things. The only downside would be the 6 flights of stairs to reach our room!

Lucca was a stunning city, and this aparthotel was really conveniently located. It was a beautiful place to stay too, and the host was communicative and made me feel so welcome. I’d highly recommend staying here!

A cozy and quiet suite for three nites in the heart of historic Lucca. Perfetto! Cool December nites were no match for our cozy room. The bed and bedding made for great slumber, and the hot shower was welcomed after long days of exploring and dining. A separate room for lounging over a cup of tea was welcomed too. 77 steps up to our suite were not a problem for us ( both seniors) but for anyone with mobility issues it would not be suitable. (The young host did kindly offer to carry our bags.) The climb is well worth it and affords lovely views of the rooftops and a tower whose clock always indicates 10:31😉

My wife and I spent 11 nights in this nicely located apartment. The apartment had some charming old features and provided good views over rooftops to the Guinigi tower and beyond. The 79 steps to reach the apartment kept us fit! The shower room was just outside the apartment, but this was not too inconvenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely stay in a genuine Tuscan home. We are a family with two under three. Very cute lodgings and central stay.

My husband and I were delighted with our stay in Lucca. Our proprietor was punctual, friendly, clearly explained everything we needed to know and was available if we had any questions. The apartment was ENCHANTING. It was truly more lovely than the pictures. The neighborhood was quiet, I enjoyed gazing out the windows over the rooftops as the breeze floated through the windows. Everything was comfortable and clean. Our host gave us a recommendation for dinner at a nearby seafood restaurant which was intimate and delicious. We couldn't have been happier with our stay in lovely Lucca!

Very nice livable space & kitchenette was functional for us. We cooked small meals at apartment on the Christmas Day. Great location in the town yet very quiet place. Just let you know there is no elevator. Must walk up stairs 8 or more flights. Wonderful view from living room.

Lovely appartment in a perfect location. Really convenient, great little kitchenette. We enjoyed staying high up, but it would be hard if you struggled with stairs.

Great location to explore charming Lucca. The "Tower Suite" was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was just outside our room but the shower was large and it was still quite private since there are only 2 guest suites. Breakfast (coffee, cereal, pastries, toast) was served directly in the room at our specified time. The air conditioning kept the top floor room cool and the bed was comfortable. It is in an older building with many stairs but we wanted historic charm and we were pleased with our experience. Lucrezia was a very helpful and accommodating hostess. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Very good apartment, with nice welcoming people keeping it clean and provisioned. You need to be fit to make the stairs as it's at the top of the building but it's very secure and comfortable. If you're planning on making it up the towers and church domes of the area, you'll not mind stairs anyway. Lovely breakfast and very helpful people, Lucida and Rebecca, offering help with finding places and local amenities and services. It would be good to have a bigger fridge for full size water bottles and being British, we missed not having a small kettle in the room to make tea, but these are small quibbles really. Overall if you want a Tuscany base, especially if travelling by bike, bus or train, it would be hard to find a better location and place to stay.

It is a really nice place with a really nice view. I would have appreciated if somewhere in the description it said that I had to go up almost 70 stair steps. Like many hotels inside the wall you can not go in with your car so you have to carry your luggage through the city and then up the stairs. We were here one night so we just took the necessary things for one day and left the rest in the car. Breakfast was nice and the girl in charge was also very pleasant.

Only issue would be the climb with luggage up the four floors to the apartment.

Charming 6-Floor walk-up in the heart of beautiful Lucca. Super cute decor and lovely views. Bed was so-so but A/C was welcomed in July! Definitely don’t try to park in the old city - driving is a nightmare!

Great place, comfortable, central, very friendly host.

The apartment had lots of windows and you could see sky and rooftops from all of them. Apartment had a small functional kitchen and there was a good grocery a block away. Bathroom was small but had everything needed. Decorated with furniture that matched the feel of the space. Simple breakfast served, which we supplemented with our own purchases. You will have to negotiate about 4 flights of stairs, but that was not a problem for us.

The style of the apartment was exactly how I imagined staying in the city of Lucca. Great location.

Great for us. Beautiful room with fantastic views. Lovely host and nice attention to details. Lots of stairs, not a problem for us, woke up to bird songs and sunrise light on the famous tower.
