Great location and hotel design but terrible terrible terrible customer service because the hotel management is sorely lacking any systems to ensure a good stay. There are so many issues here - the staff don’t seem to care, drink and food orders never arrive, despite repeated requests and even the offers of free food from management to address the issues experienced didn’t arrive. Many customers are experiencing the same issues. Definitely not worth the cost, stay elsewhere!

Very nice people and staff, however we found cockroaches in the bathrooms, and some at the bar area. Some problems with the kitchen, not being able to provide a meal. Issues with cleaning.

Breakfast and lunch are good. Room has old cub boards . AC was leaking but repaired.

I loved the location which was on the beach and it was a great view to see surfers surfing. Loved the food and the music wasn't too loud. I can't remember the name of the gentlemen staff but he spoke good English and was Sri Lankan who used to work in the middle east. He really really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Taking the extra trouble to make guests feel welcome. If you had the pleasure to meet him during your stay, he will surely look after you. The room was beautiful and spacious & great value for money.

Of the 7 hotels that we stayed in Sri Lanka this was the best from a location, staff, etc Everything was just superb

Room was lovely with a beautiful sea view and balcony. Breakfast was nice at the beach restaurant, service a little slow but quality was good. Nice pool, and overall a lovely stay, although the price tag matches

This was our second time staying at the property. This is a really nice front beach hotel. Family friendly. The rooms are cleaned and the staff attentive.

  Living on a beach front doesn't have to be in your dreams anymore. This relaxing dream of mine came to life at W15 luxury beach boutique. You get the best of both worlds here... pool and beach. If you're anything like my husband, he prefers the pool and I just love the ocean! We were all able to enjoy ourselves in the same vicinity. With the bar/restaurant being located outside you'll be catered to at all times. On the beach you'll be able to rent boogie boards or a surf board. Lessons are also available directly on the beach. Looking forward for relaxation? Try yoga on the beach or just simply enjoy sun bathing on a beach cabana.  The guest rooms are spacious and very modern. If you're ever looking to leave the hotel to go on a tour or find other food and sight seeings, W15 will make arrangements for you. A line of tuk tuks wait outside to take you where you need to go.  W15 welcomes all ages. W15 is very family oriented. We had a great stay at W15, as a family including young adults it was a very easy and omfortable place to stay, a surf break out the front to fill in time and just a short ride to other great breaks. The staff were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to accomodate any requests we made. The bar staff were also very welcoming and attentive.

This Hotel is beautifully located on the beach. It is a fair value. A bit loud at night before the music stops at 10 pm.

The hotel itself was lovely - quite small, very well appointed with direct access to the beach and a nice pool in the garden area. The room was very spacious with a great view and was very comfortable. The fact that there is no physical front desk (a small office behind a closed door) was a bit strange. I dislike the fact that they allow the local "surf lesson mafia" to constantly pester their guests on the hotel property - while eating breakfast/lunch or relaxing on the sun loungers. The food in the restaurant was generally very nice, although the coffee at breakfast was like dishwater and the pizza's are clearly frozen - avoid! So yes, it's a very nice hotel but for the price you pay it is reasonable to expect better with regards the above.

wonderful stay, the staff was so friendly and helpful going out of their way to make us more comfortable. The view from the hotel was amazing with the beach and a heated pool right in front. i would highly recommend this hotel and their food. bea

Nice 4 night beach break Good food at the hotel

From the moment we arrived until our departure, we were amazed by the charm of the hotel, the Staff friendliness and especially the restaurant!! We stayed for 4 nights in Weligama during the off-season (July)- we were able to surf in the morning and enjoy the pool and the food at the hotel. The room is spacious and very modern, Bluetooth speakers are provided. The bathroom is enormous and all in wood! The location of the hotel is right at the beach! The food has an exceptional taste, from the local curry, the breakfast to the international platters. I would also recommend W15 for the Staff friendliness and the room comfort, it makes you feel at home with the ocean sound and waves break right outside. Overall, the staff made sure that we are having a great stay so Will definitely come back! Small tip if you are going to surf : I would not recommend the surfing lessons provided by the hotel, the coach was not very knowledgeable. But there are way too many surfing camps that you will find 1 min away when you walk on the main beach

I chose to spend my 30th birthday here and, wowee, I chose right! This small But Perfectly Formed Hotel has everything you need, your own wifi (yes for each room and communal areas so super fast!), fantastic shower, gorgeous bed linen, tea and coffee making facilities, the list goes on. My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and only wish we Had stayed longer as the experience was fantastic! We would highly recommend this hotel to all
