Friendly welcome and carried our case to the bedroom. Spacious bedroom. Nice and quiet. Excellent cooked breakfast of choice and NOT from a buffet. Will definitely stay here the next time in the area

We had a good stay here. We arrived early for check in and parked in the walled garden as advertised. Went to knock on door and the garden areas were unkempt and didn’t bode well. Although these were not for guests use, they still didn’t give us a very good first impression about the place. No one was in so as we had an hour until our planned check in, we went for a walk. Check in was at 5 and when we returned Dave was very welcoming and showed us to our room, which was light and airy although a bit dated. On further inspection of the room, it was very dusty and certainly hadn’t been properly cleaned. The shower was not very good as the force of the water was poor. We had a good sleep and the bed was very comfortable. The linen and towels were excellent. All in all we had a decent stay, it’s just a pity some minor issues could have improved our rating.

Just what we needed. Dave is a wonderfully welcoming and accommodating host who couldn’t go out of his way enough to make our short stay a lovely one.

Comfortable room with a double and a single bed. Close to local amenities and host was welcoming and helpful with recommendations for the area.

Owner checked us in and allowed us to park safely at the rear of the property. Excellent breakfast with good selection of food. Only 1 drawback which is the 5pm check-in and 10am checkout.

Good location. Clean but small. Not a good shower but good breakfast. Fine for an overnight stay.

Comfortable, clean room. Spacious with everything you need. Warm welcome by host. Excellent breakfast and very prompt service. Would definitely stay again if in area. Excellent value for money.

Nice clean affordable Bed & Breakfast,the room was very spacious & a very comfortable beb,witn a nice clean bathroom . The Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and went the extra mile to make my stay special. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. Cost was very very reasonable. Very quaint property, dated but comfortable. I will stay again and would recommend.

Lovely old building with the tiles in the hall a nice feature. Bed and pillows very comfy. Shower clean and functional. Breakfast was excellent, particularly the sausages ! Thank you
