The staff at Hotel Mar are exceptional - friendly and very hard working. The site and room are very clean and the pool is great though could be larger. The food was excellent and the location is perfect for walking to the Sea and having a cocktail on the waterfront. I would HIGHLY recommend!

This is a resort hotel with an excellent range of central facilities and activities. The whole operation is extremely well managed. All the staff are excellent, but particularly the waiting staff, who were amazing. The suites are large and well designed. The all-inclusive deal (early May) was excellent value for money. Meals were buffet style, with a wide range of excellent food and drink always available.

What made this Hotel special was undoubtedly the friendliness of all the staff from reception to the cleaners, and if you have toddlers then they will be spoiled!, great location just off the start of the pinewalk that runs all along the bay, and huge choice of food in the dining hall, a great Hotel.

For a family holiday I cannot fault this place. The staff are wonderful, the food is wide ranging and delicious, the all inclusive is great value, the games and entertainment is spot on and the facilities are awesome. The kids particularly loved the water slides and the evening show.

We had a great stay in the hotel and our son loved every bit of his time there. The apartment was spacious and well-designed although we found that mattresses were hard and uncomfortable, but we understand that this can be quite subjective. One thing that we found really odd was that the security safe in the room was subject to extra fees which is simply unreasonable and first time I encountered this sort of policy. All staff members that we met were really nice and helpful and made us feel welcome - they definitely make this place great and we can't praise them enough to give them justice. The pool area is great for kids, however, the main pool is too small for the number of guests that the hotel can accommodate. Overall, it is a great place to enjoy holidays with kids when in Mallorca.

Good for families with young children, not so good for couples. Also food marked as vegetarian was usually not with evident bits of meat in, and gelatin in the desserts.

Loved the design of the buildings. Our suite had a lovely private terrace with comfy sunbed. All easily accessible and beautifully laid out. Can’t fault it.

We had a lovely time here. Food was good, staff were very friendly and plenty to keep our son occupied. The toddler pool provided hours of fun! Weather was still great at the end of October.

There was a fault with one of the pool steps made of steel and my daughter and another holiday maker s daughter got hurt the girls had to go to hospital to be given stitches

Nice quite location close to the pine walk and lots of small beaches. Staff very friendly and helpful airy spacious rooms good food.

Staff and entertainment are brilliant. The spa is great. The splash pool and slides need a repaint.
