The hotel is easy to reach from the Chiayi station. The taxi ride took less than ten minutes with very reasonable taxi fare. Great location if you need to catch an early train to Alishan.

The room is in good shape, clean, tidy and neat. The hotel is modern and well decorated. Hotel staff are nice. However there are some cons. First of all, the laundry system is not not user friendly. It is a wash/dry in one system. at first it took 59 minutes to wash and dry. When the machine finished working, the clothes were still very wet. I had to use dry function again and it took a few hours but still the cloth were damp. Since it was very late and I was very tired, I had to hand up the clothes in the room and hope the air conditioning could help to get them dry the second day. So unless you could stay at that hotel for a few today’s and you definitely need to wash your clothes, don’t use the laundry machine. Secondly l, when I turned off the lights in the room, the light between two beds became a night mode. Unlike most night lights are small and by the bed side at the lower end, this one is very big and to make it worst it flickering. That makes it very hard to fall asleep.

The staff is fantastic. Very helpful and accommodating. The rooms itself has an odor, feels humid, and is not in great conditions. This is a pet friendly hotel, so if you have pets you're traveling with it is great. However, it has a smell to it because it allows pet so expect certain odors.

the hotel is [grand]dy for Taiwanese standard. huge lobby , wide corridors. and cool cool dry air everywhere. gym abd breakfast buffet are excellent.

Room was clean spacious and there was a nice touch with the tea set and very good tea. Only drawback was the lack of wardrobe - for a large family room the space can be better utilized. Room also needs some mirrors on the side walls instead of a little one on the desk.

For a countryside city like chia yi, the hotel's superb services and stylish environment will definitely stun you. The restaurant has the best yakiniku of the whole southern Taiwan, and it isn't pricy at all. The stuffs are all well trained and responsive. The complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast are high quality. They are obviously underrated and should be rated above 4.8. I will come back!!!!!!!!!

The front desk staff were very attentive and patient in assisting with early check-in and late check-out; their service was excellent.
