Beyond my expectations, for a relatively low price, I received excellent service and a clean hotel. Towels were washed daily, and the room was cleaned upon request. There are many cheap and delicious food stalls around the hotel, with a durian vendor selling in front of Sevel every night. There are two Sevels nearby, and there's also a coin-operated laundry nearby. It's close to the pier, so you only need to take a boat to Pratunam. The bus stop is also nearby. It's quite far from the city, but it's not in a congested area. I really enjoyed staying at the Baron Hotel.

It's clean and conveniently located near a 7-Eleven, making it easy to buy things.

It's okay to stay if you are solo and broke, but the access to the BTS train and others is too far from me.

My first impression was that the security guard was very helpful with parking. The reception staff were also very friendly and polite. They were very attentive and accommodating when I made additional requests. The room was clean and fully equipped. I was very impressed.

The Muslim receptionist insisted that I get cash for the key card payment. I didn't have any cash on hand, so she told me to go to an ATM. When I asked if she had Thai baht, she said she'd accept US dollars. It was unbelievable. It was 11:50 PM at the time. She said I could pay by bank transfer, card, or even the car key as collateral, but she refused and wouldn't resolve the issue for the guest. The room was small and didn't match the description. However, the valet parking staff were excellent and resolved the parking problem for the guest very well.

This would be my forever hotel if I come back to Bangkok. The location is not at the busy street and is faoirly close the the canal taxi Wat Klang Pier which you can easily take to get to the busier area in Bangkok (Nana, Pratunam, Sukhumvit, etc.) for less than THB 20 with no traffic at all. And if you wish to bring your own ride (motorbike or car) the hotel has a fair area to park. One of the best thing about this hotel is the 7-11 at the lobby floor (where you can almost get every necessity you need as a traveler). It's also like 5 minutes away from Ramkhamhaeng Night Market where you can buy and experience Thai traditional market (plus if you're muslim, they sell lots and lots of halal foods). It's also 2 piers away from Bang Kapi Mall (if you're too tired to go to the riverside area) and few hundreds meter away from BTS yellow line, and just few bus stop from Ramkhamhaeng ARL line.

The hotel staff provided good service. The accommodation and overall facilities are good. However, please check the cleanliness of the coffee cups as there are coffee stains on them. Thank you.

The room is clean and worth it. If I come around here again, I will definitely come back.

From the photos, the room looks very beautiful, but the actual room is quite run-down, which I personally don't mind much. But what I did notice was when I first opened the door to the room, the room smelled musty. The musty smell spread all the way to the bed, pillows, pillowcases, and blankets, making it almost impossible to sleep. Plus, there were cockroaches.

Good place to stay, nice staff (the girl in the afternoon shift) and the security he helped a lot. Quiet place and clean.
