My wife and I stayed at this property and had a most unpleasant experience. It all started when my wife errantly booked a room with bunk beds. We kindly requested that the property owner allow us to cancel our second night as the bunk beds were quite small and uncomfortable. Our request was met with hostility and a general unwillingness to provide basic customer service by the owner. Ultimately the owner accommodated our request. Two days later my wife left a honest, albeit negative, review. In an act of retaliation, the owner reached out to us three days after checking out claiming that the room was damaged but couldn’t articulate what the issue was. My wife and I both have integrity and would happily compensate someone if we accidentally caused damage to their property… only in this case nothing was damaged. The fact that the owner attacked us three days after checking out and claimed we damaged his property is absurd. We will pray for the owner and hope that he reevaluates his unscrupulous business practices. ***Update*** The owner is claiming we cut one of his mattresses. Please be cautious if you stay here and leave a negative review as the owner retaliates.

What a wierd experience. Called the hotel because I was out front and there were ropes blocking the parking lot and street off and it was on a busy road. Apparently the hotel has no parking. There was no place to park. The gentleman on phone was hostile and rude. He hung up on me when I was trying to get information about parking and pricing. He was evasive and could not give me how much the room cost! Also they claim they are pet friendly. I was traveling with a small dog. But he was not able to give me a cost unless I went to the reception and they looked at the dog. It was very odd, very frustrating experience. Avoid!

Dog-friendly. Option to have a mini fridge in the room (slightly more expensive). A little loud due to traffic, but only a problem if you are a light sleeper. Feels very homey! Apparently, this is where visiting professors often stay. Breakfast is available but not included. The staff isn't around much, but we didn't need them a lot anyway.
