the property has a lot of potential but left a sour taste in our mouth, I read many reviews but chose to ignore the negatives because of the great central location it was in. the only good thing about the property was the cleaning staff, they kept the place super clean and fixed our room including our personal items every morning. we stayed for 3 days and 2 out of those 2 days we woke up to no power or water, we were told there was an explosion but we were not accommodated with not even a bottle of water to wash our face or brush our teeth. we had to go to a store nearby and purchase a gallon of water. we spend the entire day out and came back late night and the power and water were back on. the following morning we woke up to no water again and the morning front desk agent spoke no english at this point it was our last day and we're were ready to go home. stay there at your own risk, the location is great if you want to be in casco viejo and walking distance to its nightlife the restaurant upstairs was also flop.

Friendly staff. Room wasn't huge, but had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Awesome location! Very quiet for this area of town. The rooftop restaurant was great too!

Lastimosamente el hotel no es como se ve en fotos y publicaciones. El domingo se fue el agua todo el día y por suerte el lunes que salía me levante temprano porque media hora después de bañarme se volvió a ir el agua

First off, theres no pool. The pool is mostly decorative and its owned by the restaurant above. Its also in the middle of the restaurant. So swimming in it would be very odd. Wifi on the second floor does not work well at all. Staff disagreed, but my wife and i had almost zero connection. We for some reason had no table or chairs on our balcony space. Everyone else had them. Great location. Very good place to party. Amenities were just pretty bad.

I wanted to give this hotel a higher rating; it's cute and the staff were friendly. The rooms were small but comfortable. The reason I wouldn't recommend it is the noise. There is a restaurant upstairs, a separate business, that plays loud music late at night. And within the hotel, you can hear just about everything through walls or windows, even people talking in a normal tone of voice. So unless noise doesn't bother you, pick a different option.

This hotel was great! I had an overnight layover, so I didn’t get to explore as much as I would have liked to, but there was plenty to see in the vicinity of the hotel. There’s a park across the street with a nice pedway by the water, a restaurant next door that has a dinner show at 8pm with great food, and a rooftop patio right upstairs. The room was a bit smaller than anticipated, but as a solo traveller, it had everything I needed. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, too. I’ll definitely book here again!

Staff was friendly. hotel looks rundown, rooms need renovation. Flaky TV - works with magic, air conditioning was good. Noise isolation is poor. Can hear the rooftop bar music and chairs and tables moving. Great location. Bartender is knowledgeable - can make any cocktail properly.

A nice little hotel in the heart of Casco Viejo. Easy walking to lots of neat history and things to see, as well as great rooftop restaurant and tasty coffee shops!

The location was the BEST! Walking distance to the everything in Casco Viejo and the waterfront. Excellent (but expensive) restaurant on the rooftop. WiFi was good. Room was nicely appointed, lots of pillows, awesome A/C.

The bed was comfortable and the Air conditioning was cold. Architecture was strange..,lots of concrete which did nothing to soften the noise coming from the Nightclub overhead, until about 3 am. I had booked an inside room which I had heard could be quieter but was “upgraded” to a balcony room. The balcony is a shared balcony between all rooms on the second floor on that side. It overlooks the sketchy looking street beside the hotel and allows for you to “enjoy” the music as if you were sitting there. Ear plugs did not help.

The room was clean. The bed was small. The TV was functional with a bit of adjustment to English. The bathroom is a bit dark. The room is on the small side. There was a refrigerator. The AC worked, but it was either really cold or warm with adjustments needed during the night. Good location for old town. Be aware of which streets you walk down for safety. Lots of good restaurants and cafés around. Good for a budget hotel.

The location is good as it's in a well lit walkable area. Could be little noisy for some at night but I am ok with it - so I had no issues. The room was small but it was functional and since we were out most of the time, it did not matter. The shower is little small and lacks privacy but again, it is functional. The staff were super nice - five star for the staff. I wish there was a fridge. Overall I liked it.

This hotel can be rated lowly as lower standard of hostel. Rooms are dingy and terribly with totally comfortable bed and totally inadequate furniture and bag rack. Room was terribly low lighted and felt depressing. It felt like sleeping in an enclosed warehouse with fire extinguisher sprinklers. I think Expedia needs to do a better job at classifying the proper since this property was very rated which was not even close. No descent reception ambience and when we set in the reception we could literally see the dust dropping on us from the roof. Totally to have lived in such a property.

Overall the experience at the hotel was decent as it served its purpose. Was affordable if you’re looking for a unique/different hotel experience. However, be aware that the interior rooms don’t have windows and it has a slightly damp feeling and smell likely due to all of the concrete. I will say that there is a really awesome boujie restaurant on the rooftop so be sure to check it out if you’re looking for a social vibe. The music can be loud. We were on the bottom floor and were unbothered, however if you’re higher up on the 2nd floor noise may be a concern. The location is perfect as it’s just a few mins walk to the club/rooftop district and there are restaurants right next door. WIFI and Netflix worked great for downtime in the room but we tried not to spend too much time in there. Overall we rate it a 5/10. Probably wouldn’t stay there again but it was a cheap hotel for a couple nights in Casco Viejo.
