Check in required extensive information on a tablet, passport numbers dates etc. Hard sell for 29 € breakfast every day. Hard sell to upgrade room 110€ extra. Impatient person behind me was engaged while I was still talking to the clerk. Extra staff in back would not assist. I had questions unanswered. Directions to room are incorrect. I carried many heavy pieces of luggage up staircases instead of being told the elevator went directly from the garage to our room. Signage for elevator doesn't exist. Staff don't even know it's there. No luggage rack in room. No phone in room to communicate. Walked back to front desk to ask for luggage rack which was declined but I could upgrade room for 110€ to get one. There is a tablet in the room you're supposed to use to communicate. It's in Deutsche so useless to us. Staff wasn't particularly friendly. Rarely saw a smile.

GREAT AMAZING HOTEL. A bit pricey but for the comfort and location for spa it's GREAT! Breakfast buffet is the best one I have ever been to. They have everything you would want for breakfast. It also has the BEST times until 1100 weekdays and noon weekends. AMAZING. I highly recommend. The spa was NOT the best. To get drinks you either go to the restaurant or a small bar in spa area. The bar was the smallest I have ever seen and way too SMALL for the amount of visitors and the size of spa. It had a very SMALL pool to walk up too but it was always pretty full and DEFINITELY understaffed!

I've stayed several times here, and have generally been most impressed. However on the last twice I've visited the restaurant has let itself down badly by offering a buffet dinner instead of the a la carte menu. The first time this happened it was just as things were getting back to normal after the second lockdown, so I assumed this was a post-Covid compromise. However on this occasion I booked a table in the restaurant for dinner, expecting it to be the high point of our holiday (the prices aren't cheap, but the food is marvellous): the menu was on display - and when we arrived it turned out that the menu as advertised was not on offer and it was only a buffet service. I complained about this both in German and English, telling the (very courteous) assistants that I thought this was unacceptable, and even dubiously legal to accept restaurant bookings under false pretences; if a menu is on offer one expects to order from it - of course we're not going to complain if the odd dish isn't available, but had we known that it was going to be buffet night, we'd have booked the restaurant for a different day. There are excellent Italian and Greek restaurants three minutes walk from the hotel; do they prefer their residents to patronise those? I fear the answer might be 'yes'; the hotel seems to be geared increasingly towards the conference trade and the private visitor gets what's left. This is a pity; but they need to do better

The staff was very helpful, with translations, booking a COVID test so I could take my next flight, getting taxis etc.

Due to ridiculous hotel policy check in only possible at 15:00. If 20 min early you need to pay additional. Result traffic jam at 15:00. Hotel is renovated but rooms are small and strange bathroom layout. At 15:00 no room available. Went to bath without a room. Than found out entry to bath is €18/pp. no longer included. Had stayed many times before. No longer on my visit list.

Fantastic Spa, excellent local cuisine, lovely area

Excellent hotel in the Bavarian countryside. I liked the large rooms and services including the hotel pool and the adjacent large pool and spa. Excellent hotel staff and very good breakfast. Convenient underground parking. Fast WiFi. Best to have a car for this location as local sites are farther away.

The most important thing about this hotel is the excellent connection with the walk way to the magnificent thermal baths and saunas next door. I can't particularly see why you would stay here unless these facilities were of some interest, but even if they are not, this hotel is well appointed, has an excellent bar and restaurant and all the rooms are commendably spacious.

The staff was very helpful and extremely nice. The food was excellent and the menu had many choices. I was impressed with clean everything was and how fresh the food was.
