The staff and location were great, but my room had an ant problem in the bathroom and the sheets felt clean but were stained. They gave me a late check out and held my bags for an hour, so that was nice, but unfortunately room 204 did not feel worth the price. The groubds are nice though

Nice small hotel close to the beach, town and bars etc. Nice pool and bar area and food is good (we had to pay extra for breakfast). Ideal for a short break, the hotel arranged turtle swimming for us and can organise many other trips, also Spa on site. We had travelled from Tissa and first impressions here was that Marissa was very touristy and the route to the “secret beach” is a rubbish strewn dirt track, however once we settled in, we enjoyed the area.

Lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Located a few minutes from the beach and lots of lovely restaurants. Rooms are a great size. Only negative was a very noisy peacock living close by, but we had ear plugs so it didn't disrupt our stay. Great breakfast with lots to choose from.

Staff were very friendly. Pool is beautiful with lounge chairs. A/C was very good. Room was very clean with private balcony. Wifi spotty at times. Breakfast is good with a lovely location. Beach day is an easy walk (5 min.). Many good restaurants nearby.

Property highly recommended! The location was great. the pool too! The room very comfy and clean. The staff was amazing and very helpful! they had amazing recommendation (like a Spa and some shops), definitely follow their recommendation. The breakfast was cool too.

Lovely hotel only about 5mins walk to the beach. Breakfast was very good and the room a good size with a comfy bed. The staff were great and happy to help organise whale watching trips and taxi transfers.

Very nice place with easy access to the beach with restaurants and cafes. Good welcome with warm and attentive staff . Breakfast in a nice setting overlooking the pool with friendly service. Staff were willing to assist you with tours and activities in surrounding area. Rooms big and very comfortable. In summary excellent value fir money and would strongly recommend to fellow travellers

This colonial house hotel is in a great location - far enough from the noise of the beach but close enough to the action. The room was clean and had everything we needed, same for the rest of the hotel. All the rooms look onto the central pool which serves as a focal point to relax around whilst you're there.

The bed was amazingly comfortable! Room is fairly basic but very clean. Small resort so it is reasonably quiet. Breakfast had a great spread. Staff was helpful and friendly.

What a wonderful little hotel. Lovely cosy and comfortable rooms with a great pool and nice restaurant for a good breakfast to start your day. 2 minutes walk one way the amazing Mirissa beach with great bars and restaurants. 3 minutes the other way and your at the harbour for the must do whale watching. We were made to feel so welcome from the start and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. And all this for such an amazing price. I really could not fault this lovely boutique hotel.

Not on the beach, but probably quieter because of that. Probably needed slightly better guidance about getting to the beach! Room and pool were great. Making up of room between our two nights was a little delayed, but we were allowed into it straight away on first arrival, despite being early. Good information on arrival. Bit odd that evening meals were not available as advised - supposedly just needed an hour's warning, but kitchen was closed by 1800 hrs on first night! Actually did us a favour because it was much more atmospheric to eat at one of the many beach restaurants. The fresh fish chosen there was delicious and easily enough for two people! Taxi on to Galle was a significantly higher price than quoted elsewhere. WiFi didn't work in the area of the rooms, but did work in reception area.

Breakfast was AMAZING! This was one of our favourite accommodations during our 11-day trip in Sri Lanka. It’s out of the very touristy area in Mirissa, which was perfect for us (still within walking distance). Very nice facilities, except for the toilet which was a bit damp, but not a major issue for us. We would definitely stay again.

A comfortable room, with good balcony. Pool good and breakfast great. 4 minutes walk to harbour for whale trip and 5 minutes walk to the beach.
