The property has access to a nice beach, but was surrounded by swampy area with mosquitos. They did have mosquito netting over the bed. The location was not close to stores or amenities. It was overpriced for what you got. I chose not to stay there at all and found another hotel.

Raven Blue is so well situated near to the beach and many restaurants and bars. Excellent hosts and staff ensure high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Its owners also owns an excellent restaurant nearby that should be utilised as it offers a different dining experience. Great value and comfortable accommodation..with beach bars a few metres walk .. just go there !.

Overall the Raven Blue offers excellent value and comfortable accommodation with a friendly obliging staff and owner Don. It is very well situated with a beautiful beach and fun filled bar a stroll away. The breakfast is very good with omelette if required cooked for you and plenty fruit and tea or coffee to start your sunny day. The owner Don is very obliging and knowledgeable on every level so you’re in good hands at this hotel.

Very clean, air con good and quite, shower very good, big problem with loud music every night

This is a little gem and I ended up staying longer than planned (9 days in total). I am a solo woman traveller and Raven Blue suited me very well. The place is small, cozy, and laid back. Rooms are simple but sufficient with a good bed, silent AC, shower bath room, and a nice little patio outside your room with a hammock. Good wifi. The place is a very short walk to a wonderful beach (but far enough so that the party music does not keep you awake). Also walking distance to Kohub and to many wonderful restaurants a little further down the coast. Raven Blue provides a good breakfast and also offers a convenient and cheap laundry service. Super nice and helpful staff. Would come again.

Less than 10 rooms! Owner is awesome, as the other reviews have covered, it’s the kind of place you’re happy to give your money to. Long Beach is the best beach to be on, rent a scooter to get to the rest. We booked 2 days, and stayed for 6, you do the math. Those looking for an on the beach resort, all inclusive type place, you can find that elsewhere. Those looking for a comfy spot, bang for your buck, and wanting to explore the island, Raven Blue is for you!

Don is really a great host. The bungalows are really clean and feel brand new. This place is highly recommended. Even though it’s not beachfront, there is a small road that goes directly to the beach (2mins walking distance). I highly recommend this place.

Great location with a personal touch. We extended our stay as it was ideal for our time on Lanta.

We realise this part of Koh Lanta was too busy and developed for us and the south was much nicer. However if you want to stay in the area this place is good value- the beach and beach bar at the end of the dirt road were very close and a great asset as well

Room was modern and very clean. Bed was one of the best on a 3 month Trip. Don the owner was caring and a very good host.He organised our onward travel with ease.3 mins from the beach. Simply perfect. I hope the leg get better soon Don.

Blue Raven is excellent value for the discerning traveler. The owner is friendly, helpful, and communicates clearly and positively with the guests. His small staff consists of pleasant people. Blue Raven is an easy walk down to the beach, and it's just far enough away so that party noise remains on a distant periphery. Rooms are semi-spartan yet very clean. The small table with two chairs and the hammock are excellent touches for the small porch.

Stayed initally 2 nights but loved it so much that we stayed an extra 2 nighs. Don's a great host and is super helpful and speaks pretty good english.

Doon, the 28yr old owner is the nicest guy! He built Raven Blue from nothing and opened it 7 months ago. We had a great stay! -only 8 rooms in complex -100ft from Phra Ae sandy beach - good free breakfast - hammock! -free coffee and tea all day - cheap scooter rental (200 baht/day) - very clean - great ac - great price - friendliest staff on our whole trip! - very relaxed vibe.
