The food was low quality no taste pastry also low quality, terrible tasting pastry the food was left out with no cover with flies hovering the around exposed food. We arrive for lunch we left the hotel to another hotel.

Lots of pool and bar options. The wateralide! Very spacious resort with lots of room for everyone. The night life was awesome.

I booked this resort for adults only for my boyfriends bday and his first time in dominican republic. He enjoyed and loved the resort, it is a beautiful resort. The staff were amazing sweet and all were so humble. I did not book my bf dinner at the restaurant on time bc i did not know how things worked in this resort but the manager from the steak house raudy took care of the plans although it was done same day he asked the chefs at Mangu restaurant to chef something special for us and even brong out a cake and sang him "happy bday" along with all the guest that were having dinner. The parties at the beach and at club pacha was so amazing every night a special event. I def enjoyed my stay!! meet some awesome people at this resort. If you're looking to party with adults only this is def the place. I will miss the sweet employees at Riu def will come back..

The food quality at the restaurant was below expectations. There is definitely room for improvement in that area.

My friends and I went for a girls trip to celebrate our uni graduation, and it was honestly the trip of a lifetime. Had an incredible time, definitely a lot of partying-- but that's exactly what we wanted!! Food isn't top tier, but expected, since the drinks were what we came for anyhow ;)

Overall it was very good experience. But we faced few challenges like first day of our morning house keeper steel our money from my friends's bag.

We have stayed at other Riu properties in Punta Cana and we liked them better. Some mechanical issues in the room, food at one restaurant wasn’t great and the staff wasn’t able to accommodate our shuttle to the airport even though I’m a RIU member.

Clean, friendly staff, incredible food and a lot of entertainment. 10 out of 10. Recommend 100%

The resort is ok. Options for food is good. Rooms are ok but housekeeping isnt the best. Twice i told the front desk my pillow case had

Resort could use some updating but it was nice enough for our group of 6. The road coming into the resort is very rough ( huge potholes that really need to be addressed especially since multiple resorts use the same road. Food was good, drinks were decent. Rooms were basic but dont spend much time in them anyways. Beach was nice but the ocean was pretty much red flag everyday, lots of seaweed as well. Still didnt stop us from going out and enjoying the waves. Just be careful if your not a decent swimmer. Front desk personnel are horrid, expect big tips to do even the most basic parts of their job. Will also talk crap about you and be disrespectful right in front of you when trying to switch rooms. Room Key cards kept failing for everyone in our group, so many trips spent going back and forth to get re-magnitized. RIU really needs to be like most resorts and put the door key in the braclet, would make life so much easier. Onsite gym is very small and most of the stuff in there is broken or needs some repair. Also has no fans so it gets very warm quickly. Servers at the buffets and resturants were amazing and actually helped make the most of our vacation. Shout out to Sandy (Chuggy Chuggy) who went above and beyond to really make our groups experience awesome! Overall we had a great trip but the experiences dealing with the front desk personnel would def make me reconsider staying here again.

Is good but key was problem with redo it (they said is new service) daily and food service is to be honest very bad .you can’t ask for a coffee bc u get an attitude. also we saw the cleaning lady’s throwing the sheet from one floor to the other staircase which I feel is very dirty to sleep on those -otherwise everything. Else is okay

The staff was friendly and the food was good. The room smelt musty, which might be because of the extreme humidity. There were a couple of times where the other guests would play extremely loud music. Tried calling front desk and no answer so I had to call room myself.

The front desk and cleaning staff were rude our entire trip. The front desk hung up the phone multiple times when I called to ask a question. Also bring your own wash cloths because the resort does not provide any. I’m well traveled and this was my worst experience at a resort.

The elevator needs to be fixed, the room keys don’t work on

I made the best of my stay, but this resort is really for the 18–30 party crowd. It’s outdated, doesn’t look, smell, or feel clean. My sheets were stained, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom, and many areas like the ice machine and vents were rusted. Furniture was old and squeaky. They claimed to upgrade my room, but I had no view and was placed next to a noisy staff storage area—woken up daily at 5–6 AM by banging plates and carts. The liquor was terrible—watered down and low quality. Every mimosa I had was warm. If you like name-brand alcohol, bring your own. Food was okay; the jerk chicken stand was the best and the steakhouse was decent. The restaurant servers were the highlight—friendly, respectful, and they made an effort to remember you. Unfortunately, customer service at the front desk was poor. I never received the birthday champagne promised to my room, and no one helped coordinate decorations. A staff member at the steakhouse said he reserved and decorated for my birthday dinner, but didn’t follow through, even after daily reminders. If you just want to party and don’t care about cleanliness or comfort, it might work. But if you want peace, aesthetics, and better service, this isn’t the place. I wouldn’t stay at a RIU resort again.
