Loved it

The hotel is very nice but the rooms are very small. The breakfast was chaotic as it is laid out in a narrow hall with the buffet on one side and tables on the other. Check-in and all interactions with the reception were not of a 4 star hotel. It wasn’t until we repeatedly asked that they acknowledged we had the breakfast included I our rate.

Fantastic hotel, the staff and location were wonderful and would stay again.

An incredibly beautiful hotel. And the architecture and location are stunning. Very professional. I also enjoyed that they have a staff member escort you to your room while explaining the history and architectural features of the building.

Great facilities, welcoming and efficient staff. Spa facilities and outdoor pool are an added bonus.

Great hotel and excellent staff

We booked 4 nights. Aesthetically the hotel is well manicured and representative of its history. For the most part, the staff was amazing, specially the concierge Vincent who was incredibly helpful and courteous. Great recommendation la by Vincent! The rooms were outdated and quite beaten. My bed was full size and hard. Pillows felt like cushions. If you’re a couple expecting a queen (or king) bed, be ready to be crammed up The tv programming is poor, only one or two channels in English. The rooms are in need of renovation and screaming for upgrades. The food in the breakfast buffet is excellent although everything is self serve. The restaurant dinning dishes we selected were delicious (we ate 2 nights) although, menu options were somewhat limited. There was noice around neighborhood, one night police sirens and screaming heard at early morning hours. Honestly, I would not recommend the hotel.

Stayed here on the way to and from Cannes from UK. Excellent stopover with spa, great restaurant and lovely accommodation

Beautiful hotel, especially the lobby. Location gave us access to Roman ruins and Baslica Fourvière.

Pool is part of spa and for training rather than social swimming. Rooms are lovely, food is excellent and staff are friendly. Views are spectacular across Lyon and the building is amazing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Historic building outside and inside Very well conserved

Interesting building close to the Basilique de Fouviere. Service was poor for a hotel of this ostensive quality. Location is rather inconvenient for sightseeing because it’s far for from most attractions. Going downtown requires taking the funicular or infringe each time

Old monetary building turned into a nice hotel. Very unique and felt special. Plus everything was wonderful, Parking easy, location is close to Basilica and staffs are friendly and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

No pool

Good location but property isn’t what I was hoping for in terms of quality of rooms and up keep.
