Great experience! The 50-year-old building really brought me back to the fond memories of my grandma’s house. What’s best is that everything from the staircase to the brick walls are exactly the same as they were 50 years ago. Really nice experience. The host is hospitable and makes really good coffee! A huge plus! The downside is the mosquitoes, but I guess it’s okay as long as you keep them out of the room. There is a mosquito swat in the room for guests to use.

Highly recommended! Beautifully renovated old house, neat and cozy. Great location for exploring Tainan city and experiencing the cultural, relaxing atmosphere on the Shennong street. The hosts are friendly and kind, and the fact that they make amazing coffee is a real plus. The stairs might be a little steep and slippery, as the same case with most of the old houses, if you're not careful, so just make sure you watch your step.

serve best coffee in town. If you travel with three people, can rent two-bed room at third floor for stay. Old fashioned balcony (with great city view)and living room.
