AC worked well in the room and in restaurants

There should be couple drinking water bottles in room and tea.

Room booked as 'Twin Room, 2 Twin Beds'. Room was very small and basic. Two single beds, not twin beds, one pushed against shower wall with second bed with about 20cm (8") gap between so very cramped with one small table and one chair. Description of Twin Beds untrue. Budget hotel but cramped space not worth the high price charged of £63.65/ person/ night. Staff pleasant but not helpful. Good breakfast.

Very good price. Basic rooms but fine for 1 night. Great air con in room, self controlled, godsend in the heatwave. As lone female felt safe. Large car park, £5 for 24hrs, so reasonable. A farmhouse inns pub across the car park, lovely coffee shop next door, or even the garage has good selection of foods. Hotel also had small bar and served breakfast and food in evening, though I didn't use hotel facilities. Plenty of free tea and coffee downstairs near reception, but a bit of a nuisance carrying boiling hot drinks upstairs to room. Would use again and recommend.

Overall the hotel is very good, minor issues with the car park barriers and only 1 towel.

Easy to get to, simple and affordable and in a great location

This is a great value for money budget hotel and was ideal for a one night stopover. The room is small, but has enough room to hang a few clothes, place a small bag and has a small desk and chair to work from. It was modern and clean with a comfy bed and TV. Unfortunately the screen cast feature wasn't working on the TV, but otherwise the USB charging points and several sockets were great.Air con was very effective on a warm night. The bathroom was snug, but well designed and with a very good shower. Breakfast was very good as a buffet and although the evening meals looked good, I opted for the pub at the other end of the car park with a large menu selection. It would have been nice to have drinks making facilities in the room, but space is clearly at a premium. Instead, you can take drinks in the foyer at anytime of the day. There is a £5 charge to park overnight that wasn't made clear at booking. However, there are far more positives in this lovely little hotel and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Great venue as always great stay

Nice hotel, friendly staff, cosy & quaint room, does what it says on the tin.

Perfectly fine room for short stays where clothes storage is not a priority. Great Cafe nearby.

Good size accessible room and comfortable bed. Check in quick and easy. Accessible room has bars and fold down seat in the walk in shower. It could do with a towel rail, small set of drawers in the bedroom and the sink being further away from the toilet slightly. There is Emergancy cords in the shower and by the toilet. Breakfast was really good and hot. Good selection of food and apple juice or orange juice. Free tea and coffee 24/7. Check out easy and quick. Staff helpful and available 24/7.

Great little room perfect for a short stay

The room was very basic. It was disappointing that the bathroom facilities weren’t self-contained, and the shower is essentially right next to the bed. Another issue was the parking. It costs £5 per night if you book through a third party like Expedia, which you have to pay on arrival, whereas it’s free if you book directly through Ibis. The difference isn’t very clear and feels a bit inconsistent. The noise from other guests early in the morning also disturbed my sleep, which didn’t help the overall experience. Overall, it’s quite basic, which you expect from an Ibis Budget, but there’s still room for improvement.

Hotel was great. Perfect for a one night stay. Room was clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was nice and a good price!

Great easy hotel Perf for Alton towers has a really nice pub opposite it which did a carvery has petrol station and a breakfast and Asian cafe also great room was fine no hair dryer tho and small shower not in a bathroom and toilet was in a cupboard
