This Hakone Terrace Annex hotel is in fact an apartment. Apartments close to the Koen-Kami station via the Hakone Tozan railway. Don't go down at Koen Shimo station because the road is uphill. The apartment and apartment lobby for check-in are in a separate place. Need to walk uphill to reach the lobby check in. The apartment is quite spacious and the contents are very complete, from cooking utensils, teapots, stoves, cutlery, heating to washing machines and soaps are also available. It is highly recommended for you before returning to the apartment to buy food first and then cooking it in the apartment. Because the Hakone location is mountainous, it is difficult to reach supermarkets, and supermarkets here close early. Don't take the apartment upstairs. Ask for a room at the bottom, because this apartment does not have an elevator, so if you carry a large suitcase, it will be very burdensome. The lobby check in has staff who can speak English fluently, and are very friendly.
