Really love my stay here. Location wise it is very good, around the Gaya street, and one mall in Kota Kinabalu. Staff are very good in terms of the service. The room facility is beyond expectations, very big room as well. Recommended especially for a long stay!

Trashes from my windows’ view. The 8th floor that their staff told me it's already high floor, out of 25, makes it feel like a ground floor because of the big trash area patio outside windows. Only 1 extra towel is free. If you want 2 extra towels, you need to pay.

Highly not recommended! My family got injured due to the glass sliding door at shower room was shattered and make My kids 4 years old and 9 months , my husband and me injured. However, the operation manager tell us that they will not compensate our medical bill due to they investigation say that we utilize with manner the sliding door. It’s really ridiculous at all. Your guest got injured at your premis, (luckily we are not die because of it) so you should responsible to us. I believe if this happens to our ministry or any VVIP for sure they treat and care was so different. Because of we are only “rakyat biasa” , so they not compensate us. The operation manager also never say for apology in our conversation via email. DOSH in act 514 was telling about safety but this hotel no safety! However, during the incident thanks to the team that care of us on that night. Only that part I’m ok.

The view on the 25th floor is great but the rooms are very small. For both of us it's narrow

It’s a lovely location, near enough to Gaya street, quiet enough to get away from the hustle and bustle. But for a new hotel it’s showing age fast. Mildew marks/discoloration, shower holder loose from the wall, and sheets have stains. They need a better quality control check on these things if not it’s gonna deteriorate fast.

Towels provided were not cleaned properly, they had some sort of body odour smell. Shower gel had some blackish mould like stain in it.

Nice view from level 25. This hotel near to Jesselton point, easy to find restaurant. Walking distance to Hawker street 10 minutes (hunting for Seafood restaurant here). Easily walk to Suria Sabah only 5minutes. The room really clean, new hotel. But a bit noisy because I can hear people talking from next room.

There was no collaboration with DBKK so our vehicle was hit with a safe fact that we parked right in front of the mercure hotel, the room had no window and was very small in size for the price of the hotel offered.

For a 2 year old international chain hotel, the services has many rooms for improvement and some regular rite care to be done for the room conditions. 1. Housekeeping came by 9am in the morning and I request to delay for 1 hour later. When I went out for breakfast and left the hotel, I leave the door with Keep Clean Up Room Sign as well as switching for Room Clean on. Unfortunately, it was untouched, nothing been done as it was when I get back to the room at 5:45pm. Then I requested for new towel for shower but was told running out of towel and asked me to pick up after 7pm. (Well, if you need a new towel for shower then to continue the next agenda but was told towel only available after 7pm, so you have only 2 options, either shower with old towel or just continue the next agenda and postpone the shower later.) 2. Shower room water discharge outlet need to be cleared regularly as water discharge slow, the water level raised above the curb level and to the floor outside and making the floor towel wet. (That's why I get the new towel dirty because it dropped on the wet floor outside the shower room. 3. Room wall is stained with some dirty marks, hanging lamp cover full with dust, 4. Short room power breakdown for about 3 minutes 5. For a 4 Star rated hotel, I expect water bottle with at least own hotel logo instead of normal brand. 6. The coffee machine in Maupassant for breakfast is not being well maintained as some sellotape on it and the milk carton without cover with the suction hose inside in seen to be unhygienic.

If you want please pay for a higher suite room if not you will be disappointed with small room, no views, and the worse is the Wilson parking which always jammed. What's the point of doing that parking.
