Fabulous relaxing stay. My room was two levels with the bed on a mezzanine. The whole room was lovely. It was well appointed and charming. It has been decorated with love and panache rather than a corporate buyer. The shower was a particular highlight. The site is very chilled and relaxed. The pool area was very nice and the surrounding countryside was stunning I ate in the restaurant at night and had a very good meal with matched wines.

Scilla Maris is one of those special places where beauty and comfort harmoniously meet and blend together. The peace of the countryside is all around you, while the unparalleled charm of Vendicari is only a stone throw away from you. As if the above was not enough, top it all off with exquisite people: from Ilaria, the gracious and welcoming owner to the wise and warm help of Andrea. It's like being home, a very beautiful and special one!

Great decor, great service, great food, great holiday

A bit remote, a good getaway. Pricey restaurant, but good food. Decent service, but don't expect 24hr manned desk.

We had too rooms and thought the accommodations were very nice. The hostess Carmella was very helpful with English translations and speed of taking care of our needs. The jacuzzi was not working so that was disappointing as the pool was too cool for me. Breakfast was fantastic and dinner amazing.

Meine Frau und ich waren insgesamt eine Woche in der Unterkunft und es war ein rundum wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, kommunikativ und zuvorkommenden. Die Anlage ist gut erreichbar, sehr gepflegt, durchdacht angelegt und alle Räume sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool ist ruhig gelegen und aufgrund der Länge bestens zum Schwimmen geeignet. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Se avete un cane e amate la natura, dovete venire qui. Attaccato alla spiaggia di San Lorenzo e a pochi km da Noto, è un luogo magico in cui ricaricare corpo e spirito, e i coniugi Raimondi vi faranno sentire come a casa! Il nostro cane è stato super coccolato da hosts e guests in egual misura, letto comodissimo, ambiente silenzioso, cielo stellato, insomma un’esperienza assolutamente da ripetere. Bella struttura situata nei d'intorni di Noto, ben posizionata per poter visitare il sud est della Sicilia e non lontana dalle belle spiagge di San Lorenzo. Gestione familiare della struttura in tutti i sensi, la location ha grandi potenzialità ma sembrano poco sfruttate.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit im Hotel und der Umgebung verbracht und können es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen! Wir waren im April rund eine Woche im Hotel und hatten ein Deluxe Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Hotel ist besonders was die Alleinlage inmitten eines schönen landwirtschaftlich geprägten Gebiets, die geschmackvolle Einrichtung der Zimmer und der grosszügigen Poolanlage angeht! Das Hotel hat quasi Alleinlage und wenige Zimmer so dass es vor allem für Leute geeignet ist die einen ruhigen Aufenthalt wünschen und (mit einem Mietwagen) die Umgebung erkunden wollen. Wir wollten einerseits die Städte in der Umgebung (Syrakus, Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Scicli etc.) besichtigen als auch Wanderungen in der Natur (Naturschutzgebiete Vendicar, Cava Grande del Cassibile, Pantalica, Cava del Carosello) machen und soweit das Wetter das im April zulässt das Meer geniessen. Auch für einen Abstecher zu den bekannteren Sehenswürdigkeiten im Norden (Ätna, Taormina) oder Süden (Agrigent, Scala dei Turchi etc. oder im Landesinneren ist die Lage des Hotels geeignet. Leider ist das Restaurant unter einer anderen Führung als das Hotel was einem optimalen Angebot manchmal entgegensteht, uns hat das überschaubare, wenig abwechslungsreiche aber qualitativ gute Frühstücksbuffet absolut ausgereicht. Das Personal im Hotel und überwiegend auch im Restaurant war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Séjour très sympa dans un bel écrin en pleine nature. L'établissement est à dimension humaine et le personnel est particulièrement sympathique. En revanche le restaurant pratique des prix très élevés avec des portions ridiculement petites. Nous en avions pour 160 euros à deux et nous avions encore faim... Parfait pour un régime et alléger le portefeuille. Nous avions pré payé notre chambre via Hotels.com, mais il nous a fallu trouver les justificatifs pour ne pas avoir à payer une seconde fois lors du check out
