Dated but clean hotel we had western rooms with single beds reasonably comfortable certainly basic

I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Hakodateyama! The staff members were very friendly and kind and the room was extremely clean and comfortable!

Even though the hotel is a bit far from center of the city of Hakodate, the hotel is still a nice place to stay. You can stroll along the quiet city to see many interesting places. The hotel is full of friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

Room was very clean, comfortable and great for the price. Found the staff and manager to be outstanding. My wife required some medical assistance while at the hotel and the manager called several hospitals/clinics to find one that would provide treatment.

We drove so it was great to have free parking and since it is located near Mt Hakodate we were able to have great views. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time there.

The staff was very friendly and it has a very good view and perfect for the ropeway but the hotel was very old and it has some kind of moisture smell.

The location of the hotel is great as it is near to the sights and easy to get to, especialy being a minute's walk from the rooeway station. Staff on duty is very efficient and courteos with good English and even though we arrived late was there promptly to serve us and also when we departed. The hotel is rather dated, both the general areas and the hotel room and could do with upgrading in certain areas. The beds are big and comfortable but there was very strong musty smell in the hotel room probably from the carpet and the air con was noisy rattling continuously and kept us semi-awake. The plus point would be its view of the night lights on its 5th floor.

派手さはないですがアットホームな対応をしてくれる心地のよいホテルです。 ５階ラウンジでの函館市内を眺めながらの朝食はとても気持ちよかったです。 ホテルの周辺には坂道がいくつかあり、洋風の感じのいい家や教会が並ぶ通りがあり、散策が楽しめます。 難点をいうと急な坂道の上にホテルがあるため冬場は凍ると運転がどうかとレンタカーの方に心配されました。 あと１Ｆトイレのウォッシュレットが使えませんでした。（配管をしていないようでした。）

ロープウェイのお隣のホテルなので夜景を見に行くには最高の場所にありますね。朝市横丁へ行くには下りの坂道を歩いて行きましたが、帰りはのぼりがけっこうな急な坂なので迷わずタクシーを利用しました。フロントの方の対応はとても丁寧でやさしく案内していただきました。

ハンドソープ・洗顔フォーム・保湿ケアのアメニティが用意されておらず困りました。 タオルも、タオル・バスタオルは用意されていましたが、部屋に洗面用のタオルがもう一枚欲しかったです。

部屋も綺麗で 接客も気持ち良かったです

員工服務有禮，酒店像賓館的類型，裝修較陳舊，免費泊車，房間面積比較少，對住宿有要求的需要考慮一下，優點是酒店位置就在纜車站旁邊。

食事の事や、函館山への交通の事など、親切に教えて頂いて助かりました。 立地もロープウエイのすぐ横で良かったです。

五樓的餐廳是觀賞日出最佳位置 !!姐姐和我都吃素 ~ 廚師兩天特別為我們準備精緻早餐~超美味可口 !! 非常感恩 !!

安いホテルなので部屋などはこんなもんかなって感じです。だからと言って悪いわけではなく従業員の方々は感じが良かったです。 温泉ではないけれど大浴場があったのは良かったです。 函館山のロープウェイ乗り場に近いのは良かったですが周りに食べ物屋など何にも無かったのが困りました。

夜景も綺麗に見えて良かったが、宿泊したフロアに設置されている給水設備の水から何杯出しても白いゴミ？の様なものが出てきて気になって飲めなかった

函館山へのロープウェイ乗り場に近い、その一点で選んだので、後の事は悪くとも構わない！

函館での滞在、今回が4回目で10年ぶりでしたが、このホテルの立地の良さで選択しました。観光名所の教会群や、ベイアリアにも徒歩圏で行け、函館山ロープーウェーには徒歩3分とそんな便利な場所でした。スタッフは全員が熟年の大戦でしたが、それなりのベテランぞろいで「函館山のネット情報」をフロントで教えていただき、濃霧だったこの夜は「函館山の100万ドルの夜景」は拝めませんでしたが、満足して函館をあとにしました。
