The only issue I had with this property was that you can’t check in or out on the premises. They have another hotel that operates this one you have to go to for any staff assistance. It’s a very short walk or drive but kind of inconvenient. The restaurant is also at the other hotel but the breakfast they offer is reasonably priced and the food is good quality. The rooms were clean but small. We booked the largest family sized rooms with 2 beds. When we checked in, one of the beds was a pull out sofa. The listing was a bit misleading in that way.

Limited parking space, had to park under the highway bridge with walking distance a little bit inconvenient and parking is not free! Staff who helped me with booking, parking,…is excellent!!!

It was a good experience

The original boutique hotel we booked turned out to be a separate block on its own which was strange. We were redirected to the Best Western Pro to check in where we were fortunately upgraded. We were very grateful as all the facilities are at Best Western. Also the surrounding area was dark and isolated so I would have felt unsafe walking. The best western was luxurious with late checkout at 12. We tried to use the sauna and steam room but it’s closed until 3pm “normal in Europe,” apparently but not on our information from Expedia. Parking was great, plenty and free. Fast food places nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much for one night passing through to France. The hotel is not centrally located but good if driving.

Very spacious room. A little far outside of Munich city center but not too hard to uber. A nice quiet area, seemed quite safe.

We love How clean and great look of the Room

A fantastic option if you don't want to stay out of Munich centre. A peaceful village with dining options and a lovely atmosphere. Public transport can be a bit unreliable but if you are driving, the hotel has parking. Breakfast is a lovely mix of German standards and western options. Lots of focus on local and organic. Come for the great price and tidy hotel but stay for the FIVE saunas, steam room and relaxation room. It's really something else! (also, it's textile free sauna)

Great for a family stay. Newly renovated rooms, spacious and free parking.\

The property and staff were excellent. We needed some assistance with getting back to the hotel from the train station and they picked us up. It made me feel very safe.

The room was clean and big enough. The facilities in the room were excellent. The internet connectivity was poor, even at the main hotel reception. The location was excellent. Other than on Sunday there are no public buses to connect with the trains. Otherwise

Great location in a small village outside of Munich if one has a car.

Nice guesthouse close to the main best Western where check in and breakfast is served. Clean, comfortable room. This was a great base for trips to the Therme in Erding and into Munich.

Expedia needs to state clearly that this property is NOT at the same location as the Best Western Erb!! The walk to the Dependance goes through a private neighborhood with very poor lighting at night. The distance is about 350 yards and with heavy baggage, quite a trip. Add to that the Bus stop-off is another 250 yard walk with baggage. This needs to be explained more clearly in Expedia’s hotel description. Also, ask for extra comforters as one will not cover a 6’ man!! The room, though small, was adequate and I guess A/C is not used in Germany. Shuttle to the Grub S-Bahn Station are on Sundays only. Any other time you must make a request with the Great Western Staff. Last bus from Grub to the drop-off is at 2100. Not to great for Oktoberfest folks who like the night life!

Price was right. No coffee maker or fan. So we bought one of each. No microwave oven or fridge. But great food available nearby. Nice place to call home while on vacation in Bavaria. Really enjoyed our stay.

The building is an older structure (1968). Was in OK shape. Room was a good size. Plenty of storage for luggage and contents. Electrical outlets were accessible at the desk and on both bedsides. This building is an annex to the main building. You check in at the Best Western, a 3 minute drive or walk. The main building has a very nice hot breakfast (extra). In the evening, the restaurant has a terrific supper menu. Also, across the street from the annex, is a great little Italian restaurant called Al Borgo. Get a reservation. Well worth it. Being our first time leaving North America, was confused on the descriptions of the bed. Room was listed as a Double Bed. This room had the equivalent of a US King Bed! Had issues with the internet connection. While the night crew did what they could and were nice about it, it was the next morning when I made contact with Marijanna. She went out of her way to make it right. As to the rest of the crew, I never found any sour workers. All had a desire to please the customer, not just me. Hotel is 20 minute drive to downtown Munich. The reason for Cleanliness rating: The public areas of the room were clean. Staff needs to check behind the curtains/window sill and clean the overhead light fixture.
