Lack of signage to beeakfast retaurant, whi h is a tually one floor below reception, long flight of stairs awkward for my wife, lift is also along walk. View of building site from room, above the river sedn through trees, felt the new large building will spoil the view. All staff helpful, kind and deserve praise.

The hotel is not likely in the photo we see on the website. The rooms are very outdated, they are doing some renovation and they should put us in the another parte of the hotel. It was my 50th birthday and im very disappointed. Food was awful. I was sick all night. I got roast beef and it was dry and hard.

This hotel was not a four-star hotel, as advertised. The difficulties we encountered may be because the hotel is under renovation, but this is our experience with the "family room" that we booked. Pros: The bathroom had recently been renovated and had a new bathtub, sink, toilet, and tile. The view of the waterfall from the front steps is beautiful The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from The Cliffs of Moher The hotel is within walking distance of the small village with shops and pubs Cons: The new acrylic tub already had black stains The light fixtures in the bedroom hang too low; my husband hit his head on one when we walked in The beds need to be replaced. The larger bed had a visible hollow in the middle. The two smaller beds were also uncomfortable The bedspreads are vintage 1980s or earlier The room was on the bottom floor down a narrow hallway next to the pool. It smelled of wet feet. The lobby in our area of the building is under renovation. No workers were in sight, but paint cans and construction debris littered the area The door to our hallway was covered with dirt and fingerprints The view was of the parking lot The inside of the bedroom door had no doorknob; it had to be opened by the lock There was no hair dryer, hangers, or safe. When we saw the swaybacked bed, we did not even unpack our bags. Instead, we booked a reservation at a different hotel. We lost $173 that we had prepaid for that room, but we slept much better an hour away in Limerick.

I found the front office and bar staff unfriendly. Smiling, saying please and thank you seemed too much of an effort for them. They looked like they hated their hobs. The restaurant staff were much better. The shower was only lukewarm.

Location was great. Spectacular view from the restaurant. Food tasty. Lovely walk by the falls.

Unique and charming property in a beautiful setting!

Really nice location, charming hotel. I particularly liked the temperature of the hotel, not too hot and not too cold. Bed was comfortable, spacious room and en suite. Good quality breakfast buffet each morning, and if you’re lucky, a view over the falls.

Decorated for the Holidays, Beautifully. Enjoyed the Pool Area amenities. Dining room was Wonderful, Bar and Entertainment was Inviting

Good value for a mid week break. Room was seemed newly decorated and was spacious and warm. Only a handful of guests which did not help the mabiance. The Bar is not open - closed for renovation - which was a pity. Bar food was served in the dining room/ restauant. Strange pricing in the “restaurant” area- fixed price if you order a dinner and priced per item if you order from the bar food menu which is the same menu as the "restautant" . Cheaper to order per item, but one of the staff insisted those eating from the bar menu would have to sit in a separate part of the dining room. Odd in room which seats about 120 and had about 5-10 diners in total. Dinner was adquate, but could not be decribed as fine dining. Breakfast was fine. Although a credit card was sought for extras, charges to the room are not permitted. There is a leisure centre of which we did not avail. Overall a comfortable room and stay, close to a quirky and attractive village. The main site are the cascades or "falls".

Fabulous hotel for families. Great base to explore from. Warm swimming pool. Friendly staff.
