The only negative experience was our check in as the young lady that helped us was the most rude experience we had in our 10 days in Europe. Everyone else at the resort was delightful. Just unfortunate to have this be the first person we interacted with after traveling all day and finishing our trip at this resort to relax and rejuvenate. Otherwise, an amazing experience

Great stay at this property. Very clean and great location. Highly recommend doing the local Teinachen hike. The stay was very affordable and we were very happy with our choice.

Excellent for a quiet break. Swimming pools are super.

They didnt have a pool towel inside of pool. We had to carry. And they charged me extra unexpected fee when we check in.

The perfect hotel on the border of the black forest, stunning scenery, great spa facilities, lovely staff. Easy to access, good roads and parking for car enthusiasts with low cars! Clean rooms with most things you would need (no coffee/tea facilities which was the only negative!). We will definitely be back!

Good hotel and spa, a bit dated but a nice relaxing place. Food also good

The setting and the spa were lovely. Service was only mediocre as the staff were not very pleasant or helpful. Luckily the amenities overcame the staff's limitations.

Staffing was great and awesome!

Wonderful and relaxing experience in an elegant setting. The rooms are on the smaller side, but you do not spend much time in them anyway. The pools are wonderful and set against a natural backdrop that takes your breath away. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Not much else to do in the area, but again you do not want to leave the spa area!

We booked a last minute stay here for 1 night. The hotel and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We dined in the restaurant which we booked upon arrival. The menu was created daily and was interesting. Breakfast was good. The use of the spa was permitted until 6pm the following day which was great. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would highly recommend if you want to find some time to relax and deflate.

Our overnight stay was outstanding because the hotel and its staff were extremely accommodating. We highly suggest this hotel for a comfortable stay.

Nice spa Hotel in Black Forest

Very nice except the room near the restaurant are smelly in breakfast hours. The saunas open hours are too limited and not enough towels are available. The place itself is beautiful

Great hotel & location Lacking drinks in & around pool area

Ths picture of the room in expedia is not accurate. The actual room is smaller and bathroom different. Second bed is a sofa that doesn’twork well. Didn’t hold 2 children well

Receptionist was very rude from the second we walked-in and then we were given recently painted smelly room on top of that. If you are to try to give a smelly room at that hour of the night, at least try to put on a smiling face to not push customers to their limits. They changed the room and everything else was quite flawless but that really soured the mood.

We enjoyed our stay here. But service seemed minimal, and their in-room refrigerators did not work.
