Good place to stay, excellent breakfast, clean rooms, very good mattress...very well positioned. The only issue I saw is a necessity for some renovations for maintenance.

Nice hotel with great amenities near by

Room was clean but ice bucket was not emptied. Property was dated, hallways loud. Staff was excellent at the front desk, very kind and friendly at check in and check out. Breakfast at attached cafe was excellent as well, the $16 voucher for each guest covered almost all of the meal.

Unfortunately breakfast starts too late. We were unable to have any.

Good breakfast :) room was clean, Boston Pizza in the parking lot which is convenient.

Hotel was okay but service.poor. took 30 minutes to check in. Everything entered by hand.. nothing pre-done. Line up to the door. Breakfast was fine but again very poor service. Hotel a ways from.downtown.

I had a great stay with Claymore Inn and Suites. I travel often to Antigonish and this time it required an overnight stay. While I normally stay at other places, I figured I’d give Claymore Inn a try. I’m impressed. Great front desk service, speedy check-in, and decent furnished rooms. The bed was especially comfortable. What I liked most was having a bedroom with windows that opened. So, at night if you prefer the sound of nature and fresh air, definitely consider it. I also had three in my party and each of us was given $16 vouchers for the restaurant next door. Fantastic experience with the food as well. Other than that, my only minor thing was the TV not having cable (it did have YouTube and excellent speedy wifi… probably the best I’ve experienced staying at the hotel). I also noticed a smell from the washroom that entered the living space. However, closing the door and keeping the windows open significantly reduced the smell. Simply put, I would definitely return again and will recommend it to others. I would rank it as my Top 3 places within Antigonish and New Glasgow area for price, service, quality, and amenities!

The restaurant was delicious, rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was outdated and not well maintained, hot tub was broken. The staff was absolutely lovely

The restaurant in the hotel had a good breakfast (the hotel gives you $16 vouchers). The hotel itself has seen better days. The hallways need a good cleaning. Our room was basic and had a renovated bathroom. Like most older hotels the AC units are very loud.

The staff were very friendly and helpful both at the hotel and restaurant. First class.

Their staff are super kind, sweet and helpful. The rooms are a bit older but spacious and very well maintained/cleaned. The breakfast at their cafe was surprisingly good as well. All and all a pleasant stay for our group of 7 adults and kids.

Rénové depuis peu, mais l’apparence au premier coup d’œil reste à désirer avec l’auvent déchiré à l’accueil. Restaurant du déjeuner était superbe et le service très chaleureux.

We had a great stay. The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. It was very conveniently located. Would definitely stay there again
