We loved our stay at the Tuchmacher. The area is very lovely in the old town of the city and everything is within walking distance. Housekeeping was on point. Please note, that no coffee machine or ironing board and iron were in the room. We would definitely stay again at the Tuchmacher.

Wonderful building, cozy room, and amazing breakfast with great variety.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful and historic property. Very high marks for the staff, condition, cleanliness and amenities the hotel offers. Very walkable to restaurants and market areas.

Nice hotel, great location. I wasn't wild about the decor but it's just a matter of personal taste, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it!

Historic building

Great: friendly staff, delicious breakfast, fantastic water pressure in the shower, and a piece of chocolate on your pillow :) Good: cheap off-site parking - it *is* a few hundred meters from the hotel, but with a location in the Old Town (hint: they didn’t plan for cars in the Middle Ages), it’s perfectly fine.

This was my second stay and I received an upgrade in the room. Very romantic hotel with tons of original features, but still very updated facilities. The room was huge, including the bathroom. The morning breakfast buffet was still as nice as the first time.

Location excellent for old town and bridge to Poland. Glorious building beautifully restored. Tasty breakfast and helpful staff.

Perfect! Can't fault this hotel!

Beautiful hotel, stunning location, remarkable city. Although off the beaten track, this is a place - hotel and Gorlitz - I would definitely return to. After all, how many places can you have lunch in Germany and Dinner in Poland, just a few meters away. Some glorious (and recognisable) views Helpful and friendly staff throughout.

This hotel has a lot of character and a great history! The staff are very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and in great condition. The area is very picturesque and there are a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes close to the hotel. You can also take a short stroll across the border to Poland where there are a range of nice and local cafes and restaurants. Could not recommend this hotel enough!

Nice older hotel that needs updating; we have an old tube-style TV in the room, no extra pillows or blankets, and the hallway carpet is dirty. Front desk staff is mixed; some are good and some show little interest in being of help. Breakfast was very nice but staff was inattentive. The area has some very good restaurants.

Amazing hotel... felt like a luxury hotel given its level of comfort, furnishings and amenities.

This is s wonderful place to stay. It’s close to all the charming little streets and buildings of old Görlitz but has a restaurant of its own that serves wonderful food also. The room was very large with everything you’d expect.

Convenient location, close to tourists spots, restaurants and just a short walk to Poland

I loved Hotel Romantik Hotel Tuchmacher for it's great location near the altstadt where there is wonderful medieval architecture to enjoy. Also, the room was very nicely furnished., and the breakfast buffet was delicious! The restaurant in the hotel serves many excellent dishes and is elegantly presented.

Perfectly located hotel; easy access to old city & transport. Staff very pleasnt & helpful. Breakfast good. have been nice to have elevator, but everything else was so good that I would love to stay there again.

Room was quiet, comfortable and quite spacious. Lovely breakfast sitting out in their garden restaurant. The hotel is located right near the main square. It has parking located in a locked car park just round the corner, but you can park up to unload and load luggage. We only stayed one night but I would still recommend this hotel.
