Very clean, quiet place, supermarket across, great eating places 50 m away, try Scirocco. Port is 12 min away. Place looks very new and very clean, spacious and comfortable

Staff is very friendly and available to assist with your needs. Location was great with walking distance to beach and main area.

Not lgbtq friendly. When checking in, the receptionist said that they gave away our one bed room to someone else since they saw 2 male names and assumed we didn't want one bed. Also, wifi does not exist in certain rooms including ours. The water went out due to a city pipe break the following morning. I asked for water to wash my hands after going to the bathroom when i discovered the water was out, and receptionist first said, "what do you want me to do? I haven't washed my hands this morning" and was serving the breakfast. He reluctantly gave me 3 small bottles of water.

Sphinx hotel was awesome! It was super cute and located in a great area near a beach, shopping, and lots of restaurants. It felt like we were in the heart of Naxos. The staff were also fantastic and gave great suggestions on what to do in the area and how to use transportation to get to other areas. This hotel is definitely a must!

Simple room - super clean. So well located. Modern bathroom. So walkable. So close to beach. Loved Naxos. Great spot.

Great affordable spot near the beach and shops.

This funky hotel has loads of old school charm! Easily seen from the street so you dont get lost 😉 and surrounded by lots of food options, 300m from Agios George. The staff were also so nice, Antonio helped us book a day trip bus tour and helped navigate our day trip to plaka beach! Beds could have been a bit comfier, but it was still a great stay no regrets at all 👌

The place is great. Clean yet has personality. The front desk people were kind and laid back. The rooms are good. The shower and sink in my room were updated. AC did its job. Wifi was a little slow, but you find that at many places in Naxos. It's a great location and really you can't lose with it.

10/10 experience at this hotel and will definitely be staying here next time I am in Naxos! The staff treats you like family and is so helpful with suggestions for an authentic experience. Way better than I could have ever imagined!

Our stay at Sphinx got the job done. It’s nothing fancy but it was clean and the bathroom was very nice. We liked that it was within walking distance to the main city area.

Large room .Very comfortable mattress and non feather ( good for allergies)pillows. Plenty of warm/hot water for showers . Lovely staff, who are very willing to provide information on buses, car hire plus other transport etc if needed and generally go above and beyond to help. So kind. Buffet breakfast good value at 7€ per person (June 2022). Only downside was that wifi signal wasn't very good in our room but worked well in the seating srea downstairs near reception .

Positive: the staff was very friendly and helpful in navigating Naxos and getting a lot out of my time there. Negative: the bed was so uncomfortable, I didn’t get any sleep. The noise level from the halls was also very high and it just wasn’t easy to get any rest.

Loved the location with choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner right by it and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach! Excellent service, very polite employees always with a smile and ready to assist! Unforgettable vacation!!!

Cousins running the hotel are simply amazing and super friendly. If I ever return, Sphinx is definitely the place where I am staying. The location is perfect as the hotel is located right in the city centre. If you rent a car you can leave it in front of the hotel where there are reserved parking spaces for hotel guests. Sphinx is extremely clean. The rooms get cleaned and tidied up daily. Towels are also changed daily. Everything is perfect and I couldn't recommend the place more. You cannot go wrong with staying at Sphinx.

Staff very friendly, walkable. Very noisy did not get much sleep.

The staff members were very hospitable. They briefed us about Naxos , gave map and bus timetables, were available all the time. The property is close to everything in the main town- the beach, the centre and the port. The hotel was really cheap for the facilities it offered. Will recommend everyone to book this hotel, it's beyond good for this price

Walking distance to everywhere, the location was excellent next to car rentals, a supermarket, restaurants and a bakery for your everyday groceries. Excellent staff, very kind and helpful with everything. Well decorated room with modern bathroom. The one and only disadvantage is that there was no hot water early in the morning or late at night. Except for that, our stay was exceptional and we will definitely book again.
