Shower had a lot of mould. Rest of the room seemed pretty clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff were not. Area is very convenient with lots of dining, bars, and shops close by. Right near the ferries and water.

Location was great. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely and clean. Beautiful view. Downside was the shower didn't drain so that is kind of gross. Also breakfast was very poor. The food was not fresh. But overall we were very happy with the hotel and we recommend it.

The hotel is convenient for everything, 3 minutes walk to the ferry pier, 10 to the mini-bus station for Troy, and just across the street for bus to and from bus terminal. The staff at the reception is fluent in English and very helpful. The WiFi is weak and frustrating at times.

Nice and comfortable hotel right by the port in Canakkale. Very helpful and friendly staff, genuine nice people. Room spacious and very comfortable although few things like coat hanger and more electricity sockets would be useful. Good housekeeping daily so the place is very clean. Breakfast ok nothing exciting but ok. Great central heating system. Reception area and corridors look little old but our room was very nice. Would stay again.

This was a perfect location and easy to find. The hotel foyer is a bit tired but the breakfast and staff were absolutely brilliant. Stayed here for an Anzac tour. The view from the breakfast area is fantastic and the clealiness and choice of food was quite incredible. Beds very comfortable and good shower. Very good value for money.

This is a safe choice if you are looking for a decent midrange hotel. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our rooms on the 6th floor were spacious, quiet and overlooked the water. They were clean and comfortable, though the shower cubicles were small. There was an extensive choice for breakfast and the wifi signal was strong, though I had to log in each time I wanted to use it. I would happily choose to stay there again.

Excellent hotel with very very friendly staff. As we we’re arriving late at night and leaving early morning they arranged the airport transfer for us for free. Also we had booked 2 rooms for 2 person and 3 person in each room the room we felt bit small and informed the reception they requested us to kindly adjust for the night and next day they upgraded to much better room I would say it was indeed a suite room they gave us. Too good staff. We are vegetarian so for breakfast they arranged a translator from English to Turkish to inform the main chef about our needs and the chef willingly helped and my wife would tell the translator how to make Indian food and the translator would instruct the chef and boy what food we enjoyed at their roof top restaurant with jetty and gestos ferries crossing by and a spectacular view of the kilitbhari castle etc. Loved it a lot and a sure stay in our next visit. Only thing negative was shower enclosure was too small but great hot water running also toiletries can be better. Overall too good place.

I enjoyed my stay in the Canak Hotel. The hotel is easy to find, being situated on the corner of the main road to the ferry terminal. The members of staff I met at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. I had a suite on the fifth floor with a good view of the ferry terminal and the Dardanelles beyond. The rooms were comfortable and the linen clean. The hotel's greatest attraction is the restaurant on the seventh (and top) floor. This has a spectacular view across the Dardanelles towards the Gallipoli peninsula. One can see both fortresses guarding the narrowest point of the Dardanelles and watch the ships on their way to Istanbul. The view is particularly good at sunset. I enjoyed a substantial Turkish breakfast and an excellent and reasonably priced buffet dinner on each night of my stay. My one disappointment was to not to find any British, American, French or German news available on the television in my room. The only English news available was on Japanese television! This I watched with interest and also enjoyed films on Turkish television. Perhaps I should have searched harder? The hotel makes a good base for trips to Troy and Gallipoli as well as visiting the Naval Museum in Canakkale or even, on the waterfront, the Wooden Horse used in the film "Troy" starring Brad Pitt! I can certainly recommend the Canak Hotel and would be very happy to stay there again.

Hotel is in very handy position, after having you car valet parked you won't need to drive any where in main streets of Çanakkale. All the shops and restaurants with many beer bars and taverns are all in walking distance from the hotel. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Morning breakfast was in top floor with great view of the channel and birds eye view of the whole of the Canakkale bay

We were upgraded to a suite. The view was fantastic from the sixth floor and we had two balconies and a sunroom. Cleanliness was a little subpar, but the location right on the main street made up for it. The hotel is close to the waterfront, restaurants and nightlife. Overall, we really enjoyed our one-night stay.
