Paid online. No one was there when we went to check in. Dogs growling at us viciously. We were forced to leave and find another place to stay. Still waiting to get our money back. I don't think that will happen as we have waited 4 days for a response to or email. Don't waste your money or time on this place. It states is 200 metres from centre of galle but its at least a 5000 rupee tuk tuk to get anywhere near galle city centre. Terrible experience, waste of my money.

A charming home stay in the suburbs of Galle. Rooms are clean and nicely equiped and the service works well. Breakfast is decent and in the weekend they serve traditional Sri Lankan breakfast which I highly recommend to try. The place is about 4 kilometers from the coast, but you can easily catch a bus from a nearby bus station. All in all very comfortable and cozy place to stay.

Vi blev skjutsade till ett annat boende, pga vattnet inte funkade..

Maison à l'écart du centre ville (un petit km de marche pour rejoindre le bus qui se rend à Galle pour une poignée de roupies) et donc calme....Chambre très pratique avec petit frigo et ventilateur et surprise même de l'eau chaude..... Chats et chiens très fatigués et parfois avec 3 pattes.....Petit coin pour jouer au ping-pong.....On a passé 3 nuits et si on avait pas réservé à Negombo la suite on serait resté 2 jours de plus sans souci.... Bon matelas....Petit déjeuner simple mais vu le rapport qualité prix c'est raisonnable.

Der Aufenthalt war gerade im Vergleich mit einigen weiteren Unterkünften in der Zwischenzeit sehr schön. In der sehr einfachen kleinen Wohnung hat man seine Privatsphäre, aber nebenan wohnt die Gastgeberfamilie, die sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ist. Das Viertel liegt etwas außerhalb, man ist im Guten wie im schlechten wirklich raus aus dem Stadtgetümmel. Es gibt durch die offene Bauweise der Wohnung etwas Kleingetier in der Wohnung, was mich persönlich nicht störte, und das wird allen in der Nachbarschaft so gehen. Und die Hunde bellen nachts schon mal. Aber die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber ist schwer zu überbieten.
