Staff were polite and it is a well thought out hotel, but is sadly in disrepair, mostly their terrace . There was a broken bench (turned upside down and just left in the middle of the walkway ), dead plants and the hot tub was out of service. Stains on carpeting in hall.

Our stay was 10/10! The accommodations were very clean with a super comfy bed and luxe bathroom. Thank you to Terry at the front desk who was a great help to our stay and experience at every detail!:)

Quite nice. The aesthetic appealed to our euro style taste. Close to the action on Ste. Catherine's. Would stay here again.

Staff was wonderful and the property was extremely clean and nice. Unfortunately my car was broken into outside of the hotel so just make sure you park in a parking lot with cameras as opposed to parking on the street.

About 15min walk after getting off the 747 bus from the airport. Staff only available after 10am. Very minimal service. Must need a passcode to enter. If you want to leave your luggage at the place before 10am, you need to call the number on the door to gain access. The room is equipped with a full kitchen. Hair and 1 bug found on bed sheet. I won't say this is a hotel such the min service. Good complimentary cookies at the counter. There's better ones out there with the price I paid.

We only stayed one night, but if we go back to Montreal, we will stay at the Boxotel for sure! The room was amazing, as was the service. It's in a great location as well.

Very disappointing stay. I booked this hotel based on all the glowing reviews but was very disappointed. When I walked into the room the first night, the room smelled like raw sewage and the security latch on the door was broken. It was late so I didn’t call the front desk. The next morning, I told the concierge that the room smelled like sewage and the security latch was broken. He said he’d send someone up to check on the room and see if he can give me another room if he’s not fully booked after 12 noon. He said if they couldn’t resolve the issue, he’d send me to another hotel. He added that we were on a very safe neighborhood. I did not feel all that safe. I spent the entire day exploring the city. He never called. By the time I went back to the hotel, the concierge was gone. They do not have someone at a front desk 24/7 (which is fine) but beware. So I had to sleep in that same room with the sewage smell. In my opinion, this hotel is not worth the price. It’s a 2-star hotel at best.
