It was a lovely hotel with a good choice of food and entertainment. The only thing not so good was our room was quite cold

Me and Daughter stayed for 1 night on Tuesday 6th Jan, this was our last hotel to stay at in Torquay as we have stayed at all of them that had either a spa or pool, and wow Hotel, Room, and Staff was absolutely fantastic and the cleanliness of the whole place was one of the best I have ever seen, well done to your cleaners, we really do hope they are top money because they so deserve it. The SPA???? well to be honest it will depend on what you call a spa? The pool was small and cold, I was told it was a permanent 38degrees but that just doesn't seem correct to me and I was told I was the first person in 2 years to complain about this???,As said we have stayed in a lot of spa? Pool hotels and even some of the very basic hotel the pool was warmer, maybe it was just me and daughter thought is was cold but would be interested to see what others thought. Also to get to the treatment rooms who have to walk pass the pool and I actually saw a few people walking with their outside shoes on which is totally not acceptable, Why would you let anyone walk around the pool side and sit there with your shoes it beggars belief. when I asked the lady who was giving the treatments where did I top the bucket up for water for the sauna I was told the sink in the toilet? Nope you can not fill the bucket in any sink but you can fill it in the shower cubical. Anyway 10-10 for the hotel and service but it is a hotel that offers and indoor pool with treatments not a spa.

The Staff were very friendly, the bed was comfortable, room very clean and breakfast was delicious. Also a nice touch to have a bottle of water and complimentary chocolate deserts in the fridge! Unfortunately, I was unable to get any sleep due to the noise. I could hear everything from the next room and also there was a lot of noise from the road. I did speak to reception about this and the lady apologised.

Beautiful hotel. Our room was immaculate, clean, fresh and comfortable. Had the best night sleep. Staff were super friendly and professional. Breakfast was cooked and served quickly, food my hot and delicious. High quality food. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in this area again. Perfection

I'm so pleased we booked Belgrave Sands Hotel for our short stay in Torquay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The cleanliness and the upkeep of this hotel was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and we had a great choice from the menu and on the breakfast table. The hotel is in a great location for Torquay main sea front and harbour.

Fresh and well cooked breakfast with a good choice of options.Hotel very clean, staff very friendly and professional. Well kept outside areas with seating. Free parking with a lot of spaces which is brilliant. Only point would be the room we stayed in, the wardrobe had hardly any long hanging space. All round though a lovely Hotel.

Clean , friendly staff, great position

Room was incredibly clean and spacious. The food was lovely and I could not fault this. However, the customer service needs focus. I’m not sure if it was because I was travelling with a child, but staff were not attentive, and I found the service very slow. The lady serving us in the lounge was polite and friendly, everyone else lacked the ability to smile and provide basic information on the facilities/how breakfast is run. I would recommend this hotel but I do believe the customer service could be improved.

Lovely hotel near the beach. All staff the was very friendly. My room was a good size, clean, quiet and had sufficient wardrobes and drawers for a stay. Walk in shower was very good although the size could be challenging for some.
