Centrally located Aachen hotel with many wonderful conveniences. Breakfast buffet was delicious and offered cooked to order eggs. Great beers on offer in the lobby too. Overall excellent property.

Average hotel. Parking is very inconvenient if you didn’t reserve a space, which I didn’t and can’t recall seeing that option on the website. We had to park two blocks from the hotel, which is located on a busy street making it very inconvenient to unload luggage. We schlepped our two large suitcases those two blocks. Hotel overall is ok. Nothing to get excited about and nothing to overly criticize.

No parking at Hotel, but a block away. Location to city center was great, a 6 min walk. Room location was interesting, up the elevator, outdoors across a steel walkway, inside and down a step to room? the bathroom was very small. you had to go around the sink to sit on toilet. Very strange. Hotel staff, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is cold, typical European style.

Overall the stay was fine. The room is very small as you should expect in the city and electric outlets are located in inconvenient places. Parking overnight was an additional 35 euros.

Pleasantly surprised. Very good location. 500M from the cathedral and old town. There is parking, but you need to book it in advance. We parked a block away as we didn’t know. Staff were very friendly. No safe in room, Only thing that would have made this place even better. Breakfast was delicious.

Exceptionally clean and an amazing breakfast!

Excellent location close to the centre of Aachen. Very clean with a modern bathroom, nice breakfast. Parking in Aachen is not intimidating, there's very good public multi story parking, I used the one at rathaus, 6 euros, very easy short walk to hotel. Nice staff, great stay!

This was our second stay at Minx, dining room and reception were remodeled since we were last there and everything looked new. Room was good as remembered. Front desk was extremely helpful when we had a taxi problem. Very easy walk to the Cathedral.

…um die Altstadt zu erkunden, das Rathaus und den Dom zu besichtigen oder auch, um nach Maastricht (sehr zu empfehlen) zu fahren, ist das Hotel sehr gut gelegen. Check-In schnell und effizient. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betreuung beim Frühstück sehr individuell mit Tipps für den Tag. Vielen Dank. Das Frühstück umfangreich und ausreichend. Die Einzelbetten waren sehr schmal und im Bad wurde jeder Millimeter genutzt. Aber es ging. Grundsätzlich wäre das Minx Hotel immer wieder ein Ort, um in Aachen zu übernachten.

The hotel has a great location. Very convenient and easy to walk to the cathedral/Christmas market area. Staff was very nice. Parking is off site, so if you'd like to park, contact the hotel beforehand so you know where to go.

Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay

This hotel is in a great location right by the downtown area. You can call ahead of time to reserve outdoor parking 12€ close to hotel or there is a covered parking garage up the street for 16€. Hotel rooms are updated and cute. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was central to the downtown shopping area, the university, and the tourist sites. Even the Lindt outlet store was an easy walk. The staff was willing to speak English or German and answered all of our questions. The breakfasts were typical German and we're one of very few hotels we've stayed at that served Westphalian Ham (we love it.) The next time were in Aachen, we will be staying here again.

The price is high compared to the services that you receive. There were no lift inside the hotel. There were no special facilities. and the breakfast was not special.
