My room was maybe 6ft x 4ft. Bathroom was small. No where store stuff. No water pressure in shower cause building is old. Only good thing was across street from stadium.

I get it doesn't reach 35c plus many times in Wales, but the room was very hard to sleep in with just a cheap fan that moves warm air around, the prices we pay to stay you should invest in Aircon as it will work to warm air not just cool air...

We came to visit the National Gallery which was easily accessible from the hotel and the railway station.I have walking issues but everything was so conveniently accessible.The bed was excellent-no lumpy mattresses etc.-and afforded a good night's sleep.We appreciated being able to make tea and coffee in our room.The view of the stadium was inspiring-an interesting architectural building-and we could enjoy the sound of ducks on the river Taff!. Altogether a very happy experience.Thank you.Martin and Lucie

The bed was broken in my room No.10, It had a big ridge running down the middle. I was moved to another room which was better although the bed wasnt perfect it was better for sleeping. There is a constant hum of a fan which you can hear at night

Our room was clean and tidy and nice and warm, nice hot shower, good job. Could have done with some coat hooks on the wall and maybe sound proofed but overall pretty good.

It was a very wise move to stay there

The WiseStays in Cardiff is a brilliant location. Walkable to the town centre and castle. It's also only a 25 mins walk to Cardiff Bay. So if you want to be in heart of town, this is the place. Also the street parking isn't too bad. I was able to find parking every time I needed to but it's not guaranteed. Street parking is paid 3.50 an hour from 8am-6pm Mon to Sat and 10am-6pm Sunday. The accommodation is a basic bed sit. An old terrace house where each room has been made into you sleeping accommodation for the evening. It's old and basic but everything was clean and in working condition. The whole place is practical with nothing fancy. I was impressed with their communication. It was all done via messages. Very proactive and good clear instructions to get in. So it's a good place, just a little old with nothing fancy to mention.

Top-drawer in every way. Pleased to see the microwave and extra hot/cold drink available, too. Well organised room, comfortable although a slightly thicker mattress would be appreciated and detracted from the quality feel. The only down side I faced (and not much the hotel could do about it even if asked) was that when I opened my windows, the smell of weed being smoked by neighbours was pervasive and I had to close the windows on a warm night.

The location of the hotel is amazing, very close the Cardiff central station making it the best place to stay. The room is clean with no complicated check in/check out process.

Comfortable stay, easy check-in, very kind and helpful front desk personnel and within 5-minute walk to Cardiff Castle, restaurants (Pasture and The Welsh House) and 8-minute walk to Bute Park! Best location, everything within walking distance.

Welcoming and professional helpful staff. I've stayed at a couple of premiere inns and this one was by far the best. Not only was the layout really good and facilities not just rescrited to the rooms but overall design spacious.

The place is ideally situated not far from the main streets for shopping, restaurants and pubs. Car parking is easy in the street, £14 for 24hrs. Our room was a nice size with a very comfortable bed, but the only complaint was the awful smell from the shower/toilet as the drains needed a serious clean.

Check in was fine. Stated WiFi in my room couldn’t even be found on the search. Water could be heard running through pipes the whole night which made sleeping nearly impossible.

Great location, staff are nice. But the hot water is very unstable, never hot enough, even though I have to switch it on 25 minutes prior, which is waste of water. I have requested a king bed, but they have only put 2 twin beds together which is not very comfortable. They charged ￡5 for luggage storage, which usually i have offered dor free in other hotels.
