The staff werr

Kept awake most of night with partying people. No tea or coffee in rooms only downstairs. Would not stay again. Breakfast not available, waited till after 715am then left.

OK as a pit stop for an early Luton Airport flight but location is quite rough, building showing its age, parking iffy (we chose to leave the car in the shopping mall overnight under a video camera.

My stay at Thistle was quite brief as I arrived late in the evening and went to the airport quite early in the morning. The hotel staff were absolutely brilliant, they were friendly and efficient. The room was ok, clean and fine for one night. The one thing I did not like much was the noise you can hear from the street.

Avoid at all costs. The hotel had overbooked the rooms, so we didn’t get the rooms we booked. It took 45 minutes to check in, not because there was a queue, that’s literally how long the manager took to check us in. There were no curtains in my room, it was literally a bare window. Breakfast was late (ok when it came out though). The noise through the night was relentless, with performance cars driving past constantly which woke me up every 10 minutes (everybody was complaining to each other the following morning so it wasn’t just my room); there was also a large party going on outside with loud music. The noise isn’t the hotels fault, but is pertinent to whether it’s a hotel you should choose to sleep in.

Overall, good hotel but require some maintenance. The area is rough

I’m a regular but this time I experienced something somewhat discomforting - the radiator was making a lot of noise on and off (despite the fact that it wasn’t turned on). Maintenance appeared to have tried to rectify the problem. But on my second night, the radiator suddenly became very noisy again. It was quite late already and I didn’t want to switch room. Luckily, the noise level reduced about the time I went to bed

Mind your own buisnesd

Disappointed that tea and coffee was only available on the ground floor. Awkward when you are on the 9th floor. Also £15 to park was rather steep.

Due to the heatwave the corridors & rooms were like ovens. At least we had one little desk fan & they kindly gave us a 2nd one from the back office. Reception seemed to be the only place with aircon.

Great stay and good value for money excellent get free hot drinks all day. Breakfast was ok could have bit better quality eggs and bacon and mushrooms but over all satisfactory. Maybe cooler rooms as was bit hot fan was in room to help might be asking to much but aircon would have been great. Again great place for value and location outside central London. Would stay again thanks 👍

As a budget hotel this does quite well

The hotel was convenient enough but the surrounding area was frightening. The walk to the hotel entrance felt unsafe and the guest elevator was not working properly. The morning breakfast was very nice but I would’ve gladly traded it for an airport shuttle.

Okay. easy for football matches at Wembley.

No outdoor seating to have your coffee. The system for getting in and out of the main door was very confusing. Outside needed cleaning, very scruffy.
