We stayed here for 2 nights. One before our cruise and one after. The location was excellent for us as we didn’t want to be next to the port. The staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were immaculate with a bonus for me being the Dyson hairdryer 🙂. Would highly recommend this hotel

Hotel has great location and area looks safe. Metro station is within 5 minutes walk.

The location was perfect. Easy access to the desired tours and attractions. Wonderful breakfast, more than attentive staff. Beautiful modern decor.

We love the Room Mate hotels and the Gerard didn’t disappoint. The staff were all so friendly, the property had a roof top terrace that we used twice to unwind at the end of the day. We included breakfast in our booking and it was delicious. Cheeses, meats, vegetables, fresh fruits, yogurts and a selection of hot dishes plus fresh bread and pastries. We were happily surprised to be upgraded to a room with a balcony when we checked in. The only slight disappointment was the “fitness centre” which was a small room with some dumbbells and cardio equipment. I opted to pay a drop in around the corner at a fully equipped gym - plus we walked everywhere. The hotel is centrally located and very walkable.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was helpful, the breakfast tasty and the location convenient by a short walk to many food and shopping options.

We loved our stay. The staff were so helpful. The location was amazing with lots of dining options close by. It was in such a convenient location, we walked to most of Barcelona's amazing sights. Even though the room was small it was very serviceable. Would highly recommend

We stayed here for 5 days and loved it. The staff were so lovely and helpful, especially Gonzolo. The rooms were spotless and we loved the balcony, being able to wake up and say good morning to Barcelona. The location was everything we could have hoped for, all the must see sights within walking distance and many dining options close by too. Would highly recommend

Staff was superb! Rooms very dark, sulfur smelling water, no fans in bathroom so the steam was intense and heated the room up. The gym was very lacking and small. No place to put suitcases. But great location, exterior very nice and staff was so friendly!

This is one of best room mate stays in the Barcelona area with friendly accommodating staff, nice size rooms and facilities, great breakfast menu, self service bar and roof top dipping pool and sun deck all located away yet conveniently within walking distance of hub hub of tourist attractions. Will certainly be back soon.

Friendly staff in reception, central location and clean! Unfortunately the pool and rooftop area closed during our visit sadly.

Great location, good service, very responsive staff. But the chair in my room was badly stained. There was black rug under the bed. Looked v bad. We stayed 4 nights. They give you 2 coffee pods and charge 1 eup for every extra coffee pod u ask for. I would say the dirty black rug bothered me the most.

Great location. Good room, vgood breakfast. Would gave been nice to have a fully serviced bar and lounge- loyalty bar a little disappointing with no draught beer.

Our stay was excellent! The staff was great and they even made us a surprise for my husband’s birthday! The room was spotless and the bed/pillows very comfortable!

Staff were lovely. Room was nice but the bathroom had a strange smell. The entrance lobby had the same smell-a bit like drains. I was disappointed as I informed the hotel it was my husband’s birthday during our stay and they said they would organise a little something but this didn’t happen. Overall though, good hotel in a good location

We are walkers. We appreciated the central location as we were able to walk to the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and Casa Batllo and also walk to Las Ramblas and the historic district in the other direction. It was a quiet neighborhood with many restaurants in the area. The breakfasts were excellent!
