Had a really lovely stay here. Christine was super welcoming and friendly - incredibly hospitable and responsive. Everything was clean and tidy. Would absolutely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

Our hostess, Christine, was very welcoming. She was a wealth of knowledge of the local area, providing valuable information about parking options. Christine also provided suggestions for our evening meal, with her local being our choice for dinner. Breakfast was fresh and her poached eggs were awesome. Highly recommended.

Christine was very friendly and made sure we had a great stay. She cooks an amazing English breakfast as that we enjoyed before our trip out of town. The room was very comfortable and has everything you need. There’s lots of great places to eat and a grocery store very close by as well. We fully recommend staying here!

A warm welcome from Christine, good communication before arrival. The room was clean and the bed linen was a good quality. The breakfast was fresh with lovely local ingredients. A great weekend away.

The hosts were exceptionally helpful and attentive. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable . Shower room was small but that was no problem . Only thing I would say is that the breakfast options were not clear . We were only offered hot breakfast and not aware other options were available

Arrived in Brecon and the Ty Helyg was easy to find free parking oposite. It is also only a few minutes walk to the High Street where there are lovely little shops and eating places. The guest house is very pleasant, tasefully decorated with lovely white quilt covers and bed linen. Host Christine and Robin were very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfasts. I will certainly stay there again.
