Great as always!

This is such a pleasant and quirky inn. My 'blue room' was filled with antiques and knick knacks, just like in the pictures. Self check-in was simple and handy. The breakfast, at Cafe Moller next door, was pleasant and varied, with friendly service. Johan, the manager of Cameo, was also quick to respond to any inquiries, and always kept a heaping bowl of fresh fruit in the lounge for guests. That was a lovely extra touch.

i am very familiar to Sweden, especially Ystad and Simrishamn, but that’s not a very important factor, when it comes to why i love that hotel. I wish there were a way to upload photos and videos to give a more detailed review. First of all, i am a big fan of antics and buildings that have been around for decades, and this building offers that sort of reach into the past vibe. The rooms and hallways are adorned with interesting portraits and posters of artists and celebrities, and it’s one of those places that still use an actual key to access the rooms (there’s a digital entry at the main entrance as well. Everything is nearby, the city hall, the train station, lots of shops and restaurants, all within 2-15 minutes from the hotel. Do not rent a car. it is simply NOT needed! I had the privilege to enjoy breakfast at one of the locations where they shot the tv series Wallander (Netflix.) My room opened into the small courtyard, and it was simply a much appreciated add-on. If you’re a writer and want to have some quiet time to chill or write…this is a place to consider. I will definitely go back, despite having the option to stay with friends and family.

This is my second time staying here while in Ystad. Perfectly located, I can’t say enough good things about Cameo. Johan the owner is fantastic and makes sure you have everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommended! Tack!

Trevligt och personligt rum. Uppskattade särskilt luftkonditioneringen. Tips till frukostpersonalen kunde vara att byta ut söta frukostflingor mot mer hälsosam naturell müsli samt saft mot juice. Mycket goda bröd.

Väldigt mysigt boende med unika och trevliga rum med kul detaljer. Bra bemötande av hjälpsam personal som till och med skrev några dagar tidigare till oss för att kolla när vi önskade checka in och delade med sig av information kring boendet, parkering med mera. Rekommenderar varmt!

Frukosten var fruktansvärt dålig, ofräscht, inget att erbjuda utom lite flingor och några torra frallor. Dåliga sängar, med stora gropar i, ofräscha rum men för mkt prydnadssaker , litet trångt varmt dålig luft lyhört. Här skulle jag aldrig rekommendera någon att bo.

Allt var toppen och fungerade bra.

Vi hade en underbar övernattning på Cameo, med ett jättefint rum och trevlig personal. Frukosten på Möllers Café var väldigt god, och vi åt på restaurang Store Thor som också får högsta betyg. Rekommenderas verkligen!

Andra gången vi bodde på detta hotell. Rummen är verkligen charmiga och fin. Bekväma sängar. Trevlig riktigt trevlig personal. Synd på frukosten på grann cafét. Det håller inte den klassen som själva hotellet.

Välstädade charmiga rum. Fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Jag återvänder definitivt hit vid nästa besök i Ystad.
