All the staff at the New President hotel were very respectful and helpful. This hotel is newly renovated with modern rooms and they are tastefully set up. Nice size bathroom and shower with great pressure. We stayed in the king size single room overlooking the opposite side of the street which was very quiet. Lobby is curently simple at this time but renovations are starting in June 2026 to have the 1st floor built with more rooms by 2027 so the lobby may perhaps be upgraded with more changes. A very tastefully nice Italian restaurant is adjacent to hotel and is very good with wine and spirits and opens late. The gym is accessible on the top floor in the President's Hotel, which is right next door. The location of hotel is excellent and is quieter than other parts of Zamalek. Very easy access to many restaurants, café and small shops. We really enjoyed our stay of 4nites there.

This was good value for money. Excellent location in the heart of one of Cairo’s best neighborhoods. Staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Added bonus: I felt 10/10 safe as a woman travelling alone. Definitely recommend.

At one point, I was inclined to give this hotel a one-star rating, but the consistently professional service changed my mind. Special thanks to Nada from housekeeping—she is attentive, proactive, and always greets guests with a cheerful smile. The facility is new and very clean. Towels are of good quality, and the bed sheets are spotless. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable. While the breakfast price is relatively high by local standards, it is reasonable considering the quality and variety of the buffet. We often slept with the windows open to enjoy the pleasant breeze, and the quiet location made this possible. The only noise we noticed was around 8:00 am, likely from nearby schoolchildren. There are many coffee shops within walking distance that stay open until midnight, as well as several nearby attractions. On the downside, there were a couple of safety-related concerns. There is a protruding step that I nearly tripped over, which even damaged my new tennis shoes. Additionally, a cabinet drawer tends to slide open on its own and sits directly in the path between the bed and the bathroom, posing a potential hazard if not noticed. Another drawback is the lack of comfortable seating in the room. There is no sofa or couch, and the available chairs are not particularly comfortable.

Such friendly staff who went above and beyond. Very clean room, comfortable beds and a nice rainfall shower for washing off the desert. There’s a great Italian restaurant attached to the hotel and a good rooftop terrace restaurant in the sister hotel next door. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

AC doesn’t work which was a big requirement for us. The rooms are very warm through the night. The service is really great. If you ask for anything, they’re always available to help straight away. The room is very spacious and comfortable

The room is extremely small for the price, making it very poor value for money. The air conditioning is very loud, to the point where it’s difficult to sleep unless you turn it off. Additionally, the sound insulation is inadequate, you can clearly hear noise from neighboring rooms. Overall, it is extremely overpriced for such a small space. There isn’t even a small table and two chairs, which makes it inconvenient if you want to sit and enjoy something as simple as a cup of tea.

The hotel is great is all aspects but where it really excels is the people. Every person you meet is warm, friendly, very welcoming, and good at their jobs. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in many countries and the New President staff rate right up there with the best.

Staff excellent. They really went out of their way for me. I had a schedule conflict where I booked the wrong day…they not only tried to help but got me in next door for that evening. After flying 19 hours - that gesture alone really stuck with me. Roomwise very clean and great WiFi. Breakfast Nextdoor (as they are both President hotel) was incredible. The staff there also exceptional! Location wise - you’re on embassy row in Zamalek. Perfectly safe and everyone is walking around at night (families etc.) which is a good sign in my book.

Clean and peaceful room; comfortable bed; spacious bathroom; kind and attentive staff; bio Egyptian teas, excellent cotton linens and towels. Everything pointed to genuine and committed care. A safe haven for solo travelers.

The staff were really helpful when we first arrived and throughout the trip. The room is to a high specification so good sized bed and a modern bathroom. It is only 5 minutes to the metro station and close to cafes and supermarkets. The pizza next door was great but be aware that smoking is allowed in most restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic in the hotel next door on the 11th floor. Great selection of vegetarian options.

Though it was included, I didn’t try the breakfast so can’t review that part. The staff was very kind, helpful, and did not at all pester for tips or anything like that. They were also professional and helped me navigate something when I had to stay nearly an extra day.

Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Room was good with a large comfortable bed, a nice hot shower, and tea making facilities. Breakfast was excellent too, they send you to the sister hotel next door, which has views of Zamalek.

The staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful. Theroom was very clean and quiet and nice beds. In the shower I would recommend they add plastic bath matts or something on the floors as it is marble and very slippery. Almost dangerous. It was a great location and felt very safe.
