Lovely B&B. Quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast.

A real Gem of a family run BnB. Tim and Teresa the hosts have thought long and hard about what guests could need and so everything is perfect. Tim must be an ex chef as the breakfast menu is first class and cooked to order. Location is close to the Weymouth action and far enough away to avoid noise. If you’re wanting a place to enjoy Weymouth and the area, this is a great choice.

The breakfasts were amazing, the room clean and bed extremely comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. We were held up til late getting there, so it was great that we could let ourselves in. Then to find the trust bar open and be able to fix ourselves a drink after our long journey was just perfect. Thank you!

Very stylish guest house, quality fittings and spotlessly clean. A very warm welcome from hosts Tim and Teresa who were lovely! They were friendly, helpful with all their local knowledge. Plenty of hot breakfast choices which Tim’s cooked expertly they were all outstanding and so beautifully presented. Even the fresh fruit, yoghurt and granolas etc .. looked and tasted wonderful!

Booked about 12 months ago for a short summer stay. What a find! Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Tim and Teresa are great hosts. Fabulous breakfasts catering for all tastes. Would definitely book again.

Oakland was a beautiful Guesthouse. Lovely decor and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and Tim & Teresa catered for all our needs. Also tea/coffee facility in the room with biscuits, nice touch fresh milk provided (plus small fridge and free water every day) 5 mins to the beach and 15 mins to the harbour. Will definitely be staying again.

A very nice guest house, ideally situated, good parking and a very nice breakfast

Loved the quirky decoration which fitted well with the house. The hosts were very welcoming, the room spotless and the range of items for breakfast was great, if I were being really picky croissants would be great too. We didn’t use it but the honesty bar was a great thing too, and just a short walk to the sea front. If we go back to Weymouth, I would definitely book here again.

An excellent Guest House run by Tim & Theresa and one of the best we have stayed in. They only cater for breakfast which we knew about and the breakfast was really exceptional. About 5 minutes from the beach and parkink was provided. Would recommend this place to anyone.

The property was well maintained! Staff were excellent! Food was fantastic we would recommend to our friends and family.

Sometimes when reviewing a stay it’s easy to say everything is fab, well with Oaklands it is. From the meet & greet until the moment we departed the service and “nothing is too much trouble” attitude of Tim and Teresa shone through. We will be returning. An additional note, the approach and support of my wife’s Gluten free diet was excellent and would put many a larger hotel to shame. Thank you for a wonderful stay c u soon Andy and Jackie

Excellent guesthouse to use as a base for exploring the Jurassic coast. Clean, comfortable rooms, outstanding breakfast, and the hosts are welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. Wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Very convenient parking, close to the station, great breakfast, and useful common areas when needed.

Fantastic place to stay! Very clean and well maintained period property with an interesting history! Our room was also very clean, with a good shower in the en-suite bathroom. There are good tea/coffee making facilities in the room, even a mini-fridge for keeping everything fresh. Everything was replenished daily, even the lovely selection of biscuits! Breakfast was superb and all included in the price. There was good selection of fruit, yogurt and serials plus a fantastic full English breakfast or special of the day to choose from… all done with eggs however you want them! The Eggs Benedict with salmon (eggs royal) was fabulous! The hosts Tim and Teresa, and the staff, were very friendly and welcoming throughout, which helped make our holiday in Weymouth a wonderful and memorable one! We will definitely be visiting again!

Our second stay at Oaklands. We were made very welcome by hosts. Room was lovely, clean with lovely hospitaility tray. Good choice for breakfast with a daily speciality. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you both.
