Great location in Lisbon. Really enjoyed this for a special occasion and the rooms have real character. Plenty of places for breakfast nearby and really some of the best in Lisbon. Great stay and loved the bathroom.

Our stay was very nice. Room and patio were beautiful! Hotel staff were also very kind and helpful.

Casa Sao Bento was exactly as the pictures. All the charming details made our stay that much more special. As first time visitors to Europe, I missed the memo of needing ask if the room had a refridgerator. This one did not, and we prefer a private refrigerator. Also, I am sure it is a common issue for certain areas of the city, but the strong smell of sewage was not disclaimed in the listing. The hosts did everything to have the room cleaned and aired out everyday, but the smell was strong. The location was very good. Neighborhood had many spots for coffee, brunch and dinner. We never had to walk more than 10 minutes to get essentials or a snack. I would visit again.

We arrived to Lisbon early and our check in didn’t start until 3pm but we got to the hotel around 12:30pm and were able to get our room around 1pm. Which was amazing thanks to friendly staff. Margarida was awesome. Very clean room, spacious bathroom and kitchen in the hallway with small fridge. Coffee, tea and bottled water available. Great location walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Even small grocery store. I’m not sure about the parking, we didn’t have a car. But we saw cars parked on the street.

Very unique and quintessential apartment with lots of character. The unit was clean with all the necessary amenities. It can be loud outside but with the windows closed, drowns out all the noise. The AC was nice to have. It’s close to a lot of really delicious restaurants and coffee shops, as well as close to jump onto the tram.

Casa Sao Bento is a very good place to stay to explore a beautiful and interesting part of Lisbon. The receptionist Margarida was excellent-friendly and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. We wholeheartedly recommend this property.

This is a gem of an apartment hotel, located directly across from the Portuguese parliament building (with a spectacular view from a street-facing apartment). Although it was not in the heaviest tourist central location, the neighborhood in which is located is walkable, full of bars and restaurants and activity, with easy public transportation. I was very happy to stay there and would do so again. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

A clean and spacious room; bathroom was particularly good with a free standing bath! Terrace outside was a nice addition but could be more inviting with some potted plants.

Amazing property!! Perfect location and staff was the BEST EVER!

Although the front desk staff were very friendly this is not tourist friendly. No maps available nor umbrellas . The tv didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it. The room was cleaned only when requested which is fine but it smelled of mildew because of the odd location of the shower. Bed was very comfortable and location is quiet. The listing was a little misleading as I assumed we would be in an apartment due to the photos next to the listing. For the price it was adequate.

Excellent aparthotel. Everything you need is there. Booked a 1 bedroom apartment which actually has a laundry room, wardrobe room, kitchen with dining area and a living room with dining area. Everything is extremely clean and in mint condition. Our host was most helpful checking us in early and booking cabs during our stay. Location is excellent for walking downtown to the waterfront. Probably one of the flattest parts of old town for ease of walking. Grocery store less than 5 minute walk. Could not be happier with our stay. Thanks so much. Peter & Theresa NB, Canada
